I agree! I am my ancestors. The first time I ever fell asleep and said “I’ll take a message from my ancestors”, as I drifted into that realm, a man bent over in anger and screamed “they took this sh*t from our ancestors”!!! And I’ll never unsee or forget it! It humbled me.

I told my teen daughter when she was crying over just about everything, “listen, I understand your emotions but think of our ancestors and all they had to do to get you here. They told me to tell you “YO AINT NO PUNK B!” That was the first time I really cussed in front of my daughter and her eyes got big. Then she went on to say how she didn’t care about school, or her homecoming, or her senior prom, nothing. She then got Covid and missed her first week of school, she then caught the flu and missed her entire homecoming week and senior night, then 2 weeks later got mono. I felt so bad for her and had anxiety out the wazoo. I had to tell her “your ancestors have spoken! Be careful what you say!! Now do you feel stronger?” She has been positive ever since.

After purchasing that property, Nicholas Cage had more issues than we thought because this property changed him. People were saying that he started acting stranger than normal. And my guess is, a part of him became one with the house (which is dangerous). If you look at Nicholas Cage now, you get a vibe from him that you simply want to avoid.

It's a cop out by people who can't admit to themselves what white people did. My family didnt come to North America until the late 1890s and I still have relatives in Scotland but I always find it funny that Europeans accept responsibility for what happened during the transatlantic slave trade than white Americans whose families have been here since the 1700s.

Hey Ya Ya! I'm a new subscriber and I would like to tell you that there's a movie called The Saint Francisville Experiment where these 5 white college students , psychic included to see if the plantation was really haunted. I have the movie on VHS. I am currently looking for the DVD. Long story short these 5 people spent the night in the house and was filming the supernatural occurrences. The researched all they could find about Madame Lalaurie and her inhuman treatment of her slaves. Long story short, they didn't spend the whole night. The psychic ended up getting her faced scratched up and 2 of the college students ended up needing psychiatric care due to the trauma they suffered. The others were severely traumatized! As a black person I will never, ever set foot on a plantation. Let the disrespectful deal with the trauma!

Tho owner of the building used to hold 1 party every year but something would always happen. I heard from some people that are from the area that she didn’t just have the torture room but she had slaves chained behind the walls and the the people at the party when the fire took place fled mainly from thinking something supernatural was happening because as the fire spread the people being burned alive started screaming in the walls.

Dated back in Jamaica during the slavery era. Look into it. The plantation house, which is now a museum, is still standing on the property. People claims it's haunted as well. You never know what you can do or endure until you're going through it. If someone asked me when I was a teenager if I could've endured and went through half of the things I have in my life, I would've said, hell no. I would've lost my damn mind. It only makes you stronger when your abuser thinks he's weakening you, he's actually making you stronger than you ever thought possible. I was lucky enough to be able to escape with my and my children's lives. It wasn't easy and I couldn't speak to my family 9r friends for almost a year. My kids are grown now, I have 4 sons, and two of them are homeowners in their early 20's, and the other 2 started their business together. I'm so proud of them.

Well...there is no vile inhumane thing that these people haven't done or won't do. Horror is an understatement. 💁🌹🙅👍💯⭐

I read she remove the eyes of her slaves. She was def sick!!!! Sad she got to move away and live her life without consequences. SMH truly a very disturbing story I would not go inside. I am too sensitive --listening and reading the story send chills throughout my body.

Like my biggest question is who is freeing these souls? They are technologically stuck in purgatory until the souls are prayed and released which is why they haunt, closing them up makes them angry in the situation with the lake they are drowned but someone needs to pray by the edge of the water or something idk 🤷🏻‍♀️ I just believe all these souls need to be freed in order to rest

Did you say Mchardys? If so they have a chicken place named that here in New Orleans. I wonder if there’s a connection with the families?

thank you for discussing that " i am not my Ancestors". it is so disrespectful to our own Lineage and African Americans in a whole.. people should be ashamed for even allowing those words to come out of their mouth.. love your page!!!!

Yes I totally agree. That saying is so so disrespectful. I know ain’t no way I could’ve gone thru all the things they did. And I am alive and here which means my ancestors fought hard to stay alive.
