At 23:00, right as Karl is about to mention the lift motor, there's a tune whistled. It's only 5 notes long and it's definitely neither one of them, since the whistled tune is muffled and they are engaged in conversation and their voices are clearer than the whistled tune. The whistled tune is right in between their conversation about the lift motor. Very eerie!

Ok a couple of answers to your questions first….Pourquoi means why. Servants quarters were often in attic or top floors for several reasons. It gets much hotter in the summer and colder in the winter in the top parts of these houses so more uncomfortable. Also they didn’t have to spend money on decorating these areas as used primarily by servants and not seen by public… keeps costs down. Just some reasons. Well this was such a great episode. The more I see and get to know Sarah, the more I love her, she is great. She is a combination of nervous and yet fearless at times and she joins in with you so well. I love it when she gets nervous and says “stop it Karl”. She is also very sensitive to spirit. As are you Karl, I swear your psychic type abilities are getting stronger and stronger and you too have that fearless quality when others would have already left you go forward into it. What a fantastic building as shown by that lovely drone footage. I always love the other things you share like you guys travelling, eating etc…but you didn’t show us your accommodation, ah well. This really looks like it will be a fabulous series and I hope you enjoy it all. Though knowing you it was probably filmed months ago and your now in Australia or something lol much love guys 💙💜

I always find it amazing that some properties can change vibe so dramatically when night falls. This one went from being a huge quirky place with so many stairs and beautiful fireplaces to a dark and sinister place with a lot of foreboding. It ended up with an almost evil feel to it. Love that part of France and Andorra, then back to Spain. Have driven east to west and west to east a few times when too hot in Spain and go exploring. We have found many strange things when driving in the Pyrenees. Also, guys, when you feel sick and nauseous, you need to go and ground yourself outside and clear the shite from around you. Also, take a big swig of water, then place a handful of water on back of your neck and your wrists. You feel sick because an energy is invading your space, and your energy flow is now distorted. You said before you went back that this was a hostle, yet you refer to it as a hospital.... seeing the sinks in each of the rooms and the weird misplaced toilets shows that it probably was a homeloss hostle, some of the rooms look like they were really dire when it was operating as a hostle, especially the ones that looked above and below ground. Hi, at about 57 mins the reason why the door stayed open is a bit of rubber seal gets trapped in-between the doors, then also, if u watch 2 times while u are talking the seal wobbles. Don't think it's breeze as it would be nearly constant, but it's not, and it goes from still to moving a lot, to still again very quickly. There was no in-between???

The servants quarters were usually in the attic or basement in smaller homes since they were not intergalactic parts of the house so we’re used for staff. In larger estates they usually had an adjacent building for staff.

20.40 that raised toilet was probably for someone disabled who finds it hard to sit down then get back up, I used to work with a guy in a haunted pub in my home town of Kingston Upon Thames who is 7ft6” and he raised his toilet at home because sitting on a normal toilet his knees were hitting his chin lol. Servants would be housed either at the top or basement level. Also the top floors in castles etc would be used for overflow for guests. I think they would also use the top floor for lookout in defending the castle.
