I rode this in July 2000 after we left Ocean City, MD to head home. We stayed overnight at a nearby hotel so that we could ride this the next day. I was only at OC, MD in August 1988 and July, 2000. You guys went to Hunt’s Pier in 1988 the last year of the Flyer and other rides on the north side and I went to OC, MD because my mom saw something on the Philly news about needles and waste washing up on NJ beaches and she must have heard of OC MD and we went there after a special steam train ride in York, PA. Have you guys heard of Bret Malone from NY state? He wrote an article on this ride at laff in the dark and he went to OC, MD and this in 1985. My male cousin, my late mom’s only sister’s son rode this in 2019 with his family. He has a sister who is married as well. He lives in West Chester and grew up in Allentown, Hockessin, DE, and Newtown, PA. I live near Allentown. We never moved but my mom’s sister and her family moved a few times. Now my aunt and uncle moved to Lancaster in June 2019 to be closer to their daughter and grandkids. They lived in Newtown since 1979. But there are very few walk through haunted attractions left in the northern state beaches, but VA beach and Myrtle Beach have a few. Only one in NJ now is Haunted Manor at Keansburg Amusement Park and Ghost Ship on Mariner’s Landing has been closed the past few years. A ghost ship themed walkthrough in OC, MD a block off the boardwalk near Trimper’s opened several years ago in a former club but only lasted a few years. A selfie place is there now. Some haunts come and go like Eric Princz’s haunt on Sportland Pier which was open 2011-2012 and became a paintball game in 2013.

I miss this place.. it kinda sucks that I never got to fully experience it. When I was a kid I went on it and closed my eyes the whole time lol. Maybe one day I'll ride it again

The first ghost you see looks like a Bill Tracy figure called the swamp ghost seen in many dark rides.

I noticed they changed the voice over for the Arab guy in the Brick Wall. Before, the had him made out to be a tear or wrist. Key search words misspelled on purpose.

Viewers be warned.... I visited Rehoboth Beach to visit the Haunted Mansion a few years back during the busiest week of the summer, 4th of July vacation week. I was in DISBELIEF when we found out the rides only operate in the evening hours! We went out of our way to visit the beach to see this attraction. Who really goes to the beach in the evening!!!! It's a beach after all...... Unfortunately we couldn't stay into the evening too, and we live 400 miles away so I may never get the chance to see it. Of course we wanted to visit the beach......in the day time! Did we really have to stay all day & all evening too? Did they expect us to leave early, find something else to do after we're done swimming and come back in the evening and pay to park again? Who's really going to do that? Dumbest thing I've even heard of of. Obviously.....most people visit beaches......in the day time! You've been told now, so don't assume.....the obvious. I can't think of another beach in the country with amusement rides that has them closed when the beaches are packed with people in the day time. We're not going to go out of our way to visit again after this experience. Maybe they'll be closed for some other dumb reason. The attraction does look good I must say. Hope you live near by.

It is not uncommon for seaside haunts to not open until the evening. Whenever I travel a long distance for a specific attraction, I always check several sources to confirm that they will be open when I'm there.

@@DarkinthePark Not at the places I've visited. Ocean City MD for example I think we arrived in the morning and they were open.
