IcebearTV They don't do it in one night. The haunted mansion is closed for about 2 weeks. But they do decorate the entire park in one night. But they have so many people that help that one night of hard work is plenty of time!

Disney is missing an amazing opportunity with the Haunted Mansion for Halloween. Seriously, it doesn't need a holiday overlay throughout September and October because it's perfect as is for the holiday season. If anything, this should be set up in November around the same time as Its a Small World.

@@stn1812 One thing that I don't understand, is that, Star Wars has it's OWN land, and yet Tommorow Land has Star Tours, and Hyperspace Mountain (with references of Star Wars). I don't get why they would waste the land, when they could've build something better. Star Wars is very popular among people, but using all that space is really unnecessary when you are just going to have one ride.

I got to go on this ride with my parents and many other theme park guests in November 2019 for my birthday weekend. The gingerbread 🏠was gorgeous, because it's been 50 years of the magic for The Haunted Mansion. Holidays rule! God, how I miss Disneyland on days we come home from vacation. 😭! 👍🏻 if you agree. I think they don't do the same thing in Disney World because it is more a World travel destination. But also Disneyland gets many to miss the opportunity to experience the original ride. For example, when my parents visit me and I bring them to Disneyland, they never get to ride the Original Haunted Mansion because the only times they can visit me is during Hollyday vacations, so they always refer to the Haunted Mansion as the "Jack Skellington ride".

Typically animatronic hydraulics are quite loud always, but you don’t hear them due to the ride soundtrack and sound effects. But the pop up ghosts are powered by air, so they are pushed up by a fast burst of air, which has to escape, causing the loud pop or hissing noise. Hopes this helps!

They almost did at one point but Florida residents did not want the overlay, according to a survey done a few years ago. Tokyo Disneyland does a NBC version and they have virtually the same house design as WDW so the decorations went there.

The MJ Channel I went yesterday and had been eyeing wait times on the app. It was super not busy days before then yesterday: busy!! Waits on app not accurate? How was it when you went? At one point it said space Mtn 10 minutes. So I went over to Space and the sign out front said 50 mins! I looked at the app which then before my eyes jumped to 50 mins.

Honestly...im glad I didn't go to Disney World during this time. This looks so tacked on and tasteless compared to the original. Haunted Mansion is my favorite ride in the park. Most of the ride is just throwing presents everywhere and only the graveyard part is enough of a change. Happy if you liked it, but I think it is pretty tasteless.

Don't like this overlay for the holidays. This attraction should stay original. I hate the fact that disney puts so much time into changing their rides instead of fixing issues with the park. For example tomorrow land is awful and and outdated. There are stollers everywhere and it's too crowded.
