Grand lake is really cool to me, in the fact that after the last ice age, it was one of the lakes formed, and used to span all of the 4 corners states :D

That is pretty cool!! Can you imagine if even one significant portion of that remained? It'd make the Lake of the Ozarks look like a small canal... Thanks for tuning in, Rain!! Have you been to any of our other listed Colorado lists? Any other good ones we should dig in to??

@TheSpeakeasyGlobal absolutely! And the main place I've been is Riverdale Road (not sure if you mentioned it as I have watched too many videos since this one🙃), I actually adopted my dog from their animal shelter in September, and every time I drive down to that area I take the road, he doesnt bark near the shelter, but barks until I pass the area where the old mansion was, and then he stops and is fine passing the shelter, it's odd. Other areas I can think of I think you mentioned Carter lake, and personally as a lifetime Loveland CO resident Loveland has a lot of stories, they're just harder to find due to less general interest in the city, lately more people have been talking about haunted buildings and such, but for example we have a Boutique motel in town that used to be an orphanage and is in an odd tucked in area, and I'm pretty sure most of the residents have no idea it exists, or anything about its history. We also have Fort Namaqua and a family cemetary there, as well as the amalgamated sugar factory, old feed and grain, haunted Bill Reed formerly Loveland High, and many buildings on and around 4th street and the old train station. And then there's Devil's Backbone and the surrounding Masonville, a municipality within Loveland, with long time stories of a potential cult and hidden history of the area. Since Loveland has gotten significantly bigger and more people are interested in the topic, it would be awesome if you were able to find some info on any of those places!

Hi,it's Tracy McCormick from Colorado Sprgs,Colorado.Iam the person who told you about The Union Printers Home!!I lived there for 11years untill they closed in February2020.This place is really haunted!!!I always felt like I was being watched all the time.I use to smell ,how do I explain this. The odor of really cheap women's perfume in my room every day, knocks on my door with no one being there when I opened the door!!The dining room was really creepy between 12am and6am.Basically I didn't leave my room at night after a certain time!!!I have a friend that use to work there. She told me that the faucets would turn on and off by themselves.Lets just say she never went back. One of my friends was walking in the building that use to be the mortuary, she was tapped on the shoulder by something!!The building on the outside and inside just gave me chills!!!The building use to be used as a hospital for TB patients.Just imagine how many people died there.!!!Ghost Hunters and Ghost Adventures wanted to come check out the place but they were told no!!!I heard that someone finally bought the place and we're thinking about making it into a hotel or apartments which I personally don't think is a good idea!!!!You need to check into this place!!!

Being a Colorado Native, I have been to many haunted places in our state. I have been to back mountain decollate cemeteries (at night of course) to Sand Creek and Ludlow massacre sites. When I was working in Denver I spent several years working at Ward 19 at Denver Health. It was an one of the first extensions of Danvers first hospital that has served many roles. It is reported that there are many past soles roaming. Another place that I have worked at was Cedar Springs in Colorado Springs. Both are said to be very haunted. Both places I worked the night shift. The stories are plentiful.

I always pass by the Brown Palace/Ship Tavern when I'm in downtown Denver. I had no idea it's supposedly haunted.

Why is it that ghosts only come out at night?

They are around all the time- more active at night for some reason- the ghost I had in my apartment was seen at all hours- dog stared at the corner for hours in the early afternoon- I saw his shadow all the time in the kitchen to bedroom to living room where the dog stared at him...When I moved I said good bye- his shadow passed when I shut the door- chills hit- Weird yes- I haven't experienced any thing since 2020 of April..
