Good job! My last car, and favorite model car, '99 Toyota Celica GT, I had a CEL for the egr, I replaced every damn part in the egr system!! Still had the CEL!! After six months of research, I too, FINALLY, came across a forum, someone else had a similar problem...they replaced THE ECU!! So, I bought a used one, CEL GONE! all that money and stress, I had to get my car smogged, it sucks having to drive around always watching out for police. The funny thing, I was speeding home one night, I noticed someone tailgating me, but couldn't tell who it was. I was literally 100 feet from my apartments and got lit up! lol. The cop asked me a bunch of questions, I explained the situation in detail, he told me to slow down and let me go, lol, huge sigh of relief after that, I had my tags soon after. Then recently I got an evap CEL that I couldn't figure out and gave up, sold it to pick n pull. That car was a workhorse, it had its problems, but it was always there for me.
