I love how through all of Hunter’s challenges and trauma, Flapjack was the one that stayed with him until the end. Beautiful animatic - I love the amount of effort you put into this!! 💕💕

i just recently got back into toh and was watching animatics, I was like: "it sucks that no one really posts about toh anymore" after watching this, and then I realized this was recent and it made me appreciate it even more! I love how you went into what Hunter might have been seeing/going through when passed out. i always did find it interesting how he already knew about flapjack and assumed that he was experiencing something in his head when passed out. now I'll probably think of this animatic cause ahhhh its so good.

I adore this all so much. You picked the perfect soundtracks for the scenes, really helped with the emotional feel of it all. The textures of it are so nice and then there's the colors getting introduced and the animation and its just ahhh!!!!! Jsjahskaj,,,!!!!!! I love Philip and Hunter's interactions in this too, Philip's so mean, as always, and so in-character too, the way he calmly mocks him❤❤ Thw whole thing with his friends hating him makes me of Luz's nightmare in WAD but for Hunter! I like it I almost teared up at the end, and I only do that if a video is REALLY good! This was perfect! We need more story-based animatics in TOH, I love them so so so much.

Amazing work! I love the dialogue, and the compositions of each shot. You did an amazing job breaking down and analyzing Hunter's character. The progression from each nightmare character was a great way to show Hunter's character development timeline. From trying to be the Golden Guard, to meeting Luz, to still being connected to Belos, to trying to switch sides through Willow's inspirational influence, all to climax into trying to fight against Belos in his final moments. I like the touch of Flapjack being in color when he shows up in the dream as well. It's a great touch to symbolize how Flapjack's spirit is actually there, not just a dream thing that Hunter's trying to hold onto. Amazing art, delightful direction through steller storytelling. This is a lovely tribute to Hunter's character in the owl house. Earned my sub with this one, and it's the first vid I've seen from you. Time well spent, so keep at it!

I love everything about this. The way you used a few ost’s for this too makes it feel like it’s an actual episode, so all this makes me miss the show more. If only it wasn’t cancelled we would’ve had more time seeing something like this happen in the show to demonstrate how it all weighed for Hunter after Flapjack’s sacrifice

THIS IS SO SO GOOD OMG?? As someone who got into the fandom late, I was afraid there would be so much I missed. I had wondered if anyone had made fanfic or fan art of what happened in the in-between when flapjack died. Especially since hunter wakes up saying I already know?? Lo and behold this shows up right on my lap, this is so so stunning. The art, animation , the PERFECT lip syncing??? hell i started speaking the lines along with animation because it was animated so well!! every single scene was so well placed , with the dialogue. The last conversation hunter and FJ have too, warmed my heart. I wish they had more time together but all the time they had was well spent and FJ will truly stay in hunter's heart forever (quite literally) Thank you so much for the art, I'm gonna go down the rabbit hole of all your art now. I'm sure it is all just as if not more stunning.

Oh my gosh... This is amazing! (Spoilers for anyone who hasn't watched it!) I love the fact that Hunter's mindscape was used as the setting, some people kinda seem to forget about the conceot so I'm happy it got used here! And the story. I love the "fish out of water" approach you took to it! In the beginning, we're all just as confused as hunter. And by the end we piece together that the whole thing's a dream that's happening during the end of the possession! It's honestly such good writing! Then the art direction is damn BEAUTIFUL 👏✨ the dark atmosphere you create through your art by simply using the messy sketches made up of blacks and whites in the beginning is just. Wow. Then coupled with flapjack being a bright red that always draws the viewers eyes to him because he's kinda a resting spot for the eyes is an amazing trick! How you drew him linelessly and made him a lot less messy in comparison to his surroundings too was genius! Gosh this animatic in general is so inspiring and is the kinda thing to keep the fandom alive, so thank you for this!! 🫶✨
