Haunted Upstate: The Ghosts of Big Moose Lake

What was once the scene of one of the most famous murder cases in American history is now the scene of one of the most consistent ghost sightings in upstate New York. We journeyed to the heart of central New York to learn more about the murder and ghost of Grace Brown.

I got married at Big Moose Lake and spent a week there with close friends and family for my honeymoon. We had two frightening experiences when we absolutely least expected it, on two different nights during our stay there. Nothing threatening, but enough to really rattle us.

very cool...I lived in South Bay when I was a kid, before there was a road. my dad is in a book called Big Moose Lake on Syracuse university press. it doesn't say ,much, just that he cleared and built specific areas in South Bay.

He didn’t go to Oberlin College .... he went to Oberlin Academy.He had no real education due to his parents moving all over so he wouldn’t have been able to go to manage college.
