From 1967 to 1970 we used to hang out the park all the time. We never thought the park was haunted, we thought there was magic in the air.

SHADOW RANCH PARK IS HAUNTED I SAW A BOY ON THE 2ND LEVER OF THE BUILDING WHEN THE WINDOWS WERE ALL BOARDED UP AND IT WAS MORE THAN ONCE ME AND MY OLDER SISTER WOULD ROLLER SKATE FASTER WHEN WE SKATED NEARTHE FRONT OF THE BUILDING I FELT A CRAZY SPIRIT EVERY TIME I WENT INTO THE RESTROOM I WOULD HEAR A BOY RUNNING AROUND TURNING THE FAUCET ON AND OFF BUT WOULD SEE NO ONE WHEN I LOOKED I'D LITERALLY RUN OUT EVERY TIME- FOR YEARS!!!

Witnessed ghosts during the 90's there. It was insane! Never even really understood what I was seeing until I grew older and realized. When I read about a boy haunting the building I nearly collapsed! Seriously I was so freaked out I never believed in sh* until that point. I'd literally play at that park day in day out from 94-99

There is a house near Woodly and Balboa that has been vacant or remodeled for 30 years. Used the OUJI board in there, very strange stuff. Heard a baby crying and every time I went to the bedroom door, the crying would stop, that was 92. Went back in 2002, it was still being remodeled, went in with a video cam heard heavy breathing and thumps, very freaky.

I lived @ 7711 Capistrano Ave. (Shoup & Saticoy) from 2002-2014. I have seen, along up & down the Street, Spirits dressed in a particular time period-Guys with the "Handle Bar" Mustache's, and wide striped Clothing.I wasn't the only one who has witnessed this "scene". All the people(Spirits) were lined up only on my side of the Street, and all were busy doing some kind of Chore, like Sweeping, Carpentry, ect.A couple of times one of the Spirits stopped what is was they were doing, then turned their heads to glance at uss for a few seconds.Then would go back to physically d oing sweeping, ect.I felt as though that "area" was perhaps some sort of Way-Station....

I grew up in a house on Capistrano ave. It was haunted, i saw shadow people, tv antennas moving. A lot of strange things.I would really like to see someone investigate my old house. Shadow Ranch does have a haunted kind of vibe to it, been there many times. Shadow Ranch was the Albert Workman Ranch along with the surrounding 13,000 acres up until about 1930's. It was sub divided into house lots with the 13 remaining acres as the park.

My husband and SteelyDug and another friend spent a night in that house back in the 70's. It's definitely haunted. Lots of unexplainable stuff happened.

I GREW UP IN SHADOW RANCH PARK BASICALLY AND WENT TO SCHOOL AT HAMLIN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL RIGHT DOWN THE STREET IT WAS THE MOST INSANE EXPERIENCES OF MY LIFE I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY WE GET TO SEE THESE GHOSTS AS CHILDREN AND NOT SO EASILY TODAY. I COULDN'T BELIEVE YEARS LATER FINDING OUT A BOY DIED THERE I ALMOST STARTED CRYING MY SISTER AND I JUST LOOKED AT EACHOTHER AND WERE LIKE HOLY CRAP WHAT WE FELT AND SAW WAS REAL WE WERE REALLY FEELING SOMETHING IT'S JUST INTENSE TO FIND ALL THIS OUT!

Growing up during the early 90's I witnessed a boy walking around the building and would disappear before even understanding these types of things(ghosts,supernatural etc.) Coming to find years later that a child had died there I literally had chills everywhere. I witnessed the ghost first hand plus I always had strange feelings I've NEVER felt anywhere else when I would roller skate around the building at during sundown. The restrooms especially....I was never a believer til I realizes today...

I lived on Capistrano as well. That house was crazy haunted. My whole family had scary experiences in that place. It was in the 80s when it was still called Canoga Park. It was right where that little park was on the corner.
