They are definitely the darkest books I've ever read 🫣 Which funny enough didn't bother me too much. It was the romance I couldn't get into..which is the whole reason I read it LOL But I've still got a whole half of a book to read, so I'm hoping that gets better! And thank you ♥️ I've been feeling more myself this past week or so, so that has been really nice. I'm hoping once the original issue goes away the anxiety will too 😅🤞🏻

I read haunting Adeline and I liked it! I’m currently reading hunting Adeline and it’s HARD to get through. People are right when they say it’s way darker than the first.

i’ve heard about haunting adeline before but somehow never heard about just how dark it was! i was considering giving it a read, but after getting a glance at the trigger warnings, i think i’ll personally have to pass. i loved watching you reading through it though! i hope you enjoyed the series in the end!!

I heard so much about how dark it was that I think I was expecting more, from the first book anyway...the second book was nuts 😳 lol. I still haven't picked the 2nd book back up again, but I'm hoping to finish it this month 📚✨

I thought I had a heart issue and it felt like my chest was caving in on me for a year straight, such tight chest pains, I thought I was dying and it was just ✨ anxiety✨ taking care of yourself is key!!! 🩷

I kind of thought your lil bookmark pet, looked like the beginning of an adorable derpy snake. I'm not a huge fan of them, but in squish form they can be cute. I haven't read any of them (yet) but because of their covers I'm always confusing Haunting Adeline, Her Soul to Take and The Ritual. (I think those are the names). I am interested in this, and some other dark romances to see if I even like them, and if so. How dark do I like it?

It does kind of look like a derpy snake! lol Amazon recommends The Ritual to me all the time, I should probably check it out one of these days. And I hadn't heard of Her Soul To Take, but paranormal dark academia romance sounds VERY intriguing (if it's the same book). I'm still pretty new to dark romances myself. So far I haven't met my "darkness" level, but I've definitely been able to weed out types of spice that I don't like. Wishing you nothing but the best with your dark romance journey!! 😈📚😋

Hey, I'm starting to read Haunting Adeline...and can someone please explain what does the letters at the end of each chapter mean...I mean idk who is the writing the letters and to whom?

It’s kind of its own storyline and it’ll make more sense as you read more of them.

I don`t understand you have the prologue in in black page and white writing and the page after it is a black page in a black font is that normal? and how am I meant to read those pages which is black page and black font do I read it or skip those pages which have the black font on a black page?. I just realised that was book 1 haunting Adeline and the book with the black page chapter and white font and the page beside that is black font on white page as normal and that is book 2 unless that the uk edition iv got well id hope so seen as i am from the uk myself 🤣. either that or i am confused.

The black font on the black pages are letters that give another storyline to the book, so definitely read them 😊

@@jenseereads how can you read those pages? must have to read those pages with a really strong light or a mignifyer, use reading glasses to read and yet reading black font on a black background is hard if it was black font on a white back ground or a black back ground page and white font it would be easier to read, its not the size of the font that is bothering me, its the way the black font on a black back ground page that puzzles me, there must be a trick to it.
