This. You and Ebroin are setting the gold standard for model making. I think more and more modelers worldwide are taking a hard look at their kits and seeing possibilities beyond the molded details, thanks to you two. Inspiring to say the least.

When this video first got posted I thought 'oh no that's going to be a bit boring' . A few weeks into the covid 19 crisis and I'm looking for vids I've missed on my favourite channels and watch this one. I am soooooo glad I watched it now. I think only a fellow modeller can really appreciate the skill it takes to produce something like this. But it's not just the skill of building and painting it that deserves recognition for, your video's are always filmed, narrated and edited like a seasoned professional. It's a real pleasure to watch and I thank you for the effort you put in and for sharing it all with us mere mortals. Hahaha, From here in Wales 🏴 in the UK please stay safe, stay well and stay home.

This brings a whole new meaning to "building a model kit". So, you don't even need a kit, just a picture, a ruler and some styrene. Totally amazing build of a complex prototype, right down to the weathering. I'm almost speechless.😁👌👍 Cheers for now, Dougie.

Excellent work David. Your scratch building work is very neat and clean but you break down the work steps very well. You have inspired me to finish the 3 models I'm working on at the moment. Just remember folks, plastic card & rod, lead and copper wire are your friends!

Most people would be like “meh 3D print it.” Plasmo’s like “hold my beer rookie.”
@AlfredBroda5 жыл бұрын
It's not that easy to 3D print clean flat surfaces, at least not in FDM. SLA might be easier, but is trickier to get right too, especially if any cleanup is needed. That's assuming you have the skill to digitally model this beast in the first place.
@HvV84465 жыл бұрын
Alfred Broda Well, in cad it is at least not falling apart and sticking to your fingers, and not the place where it is supposed to go. but this is impossible to 3D print with fdm/fff, sla would be, if your have the settings right, your best bet at printing it
