I’m 38 and light neutral. Normal to dry. Got shade 110. I absolutely love it. My favorite of the year. I’ve tried the new Lancôme, new hourglass, Chanel water fresh, Chanel no 1, nars, charlotte tilbury beautiful skin and this is by far my favorite.

So excited this was today's video. You get what you pay for with the packaging. It is really luxe. I put this Haus Labs foundation on for the first time today. I used a second layer to better cover my sun damage spots. I have normal skin with a couple of small dry patches. I've had it on for 9 hours, outside in the 85 degree heat with my 3 yr old grandson, playing inside and even baking cookies. It still looks good. I powdered on application with my Hourglass Veil powder and once again around 6 hours. My shade match with Nars Light Reflecting foundation is Patagonia and Hourglass Ambient is 7.5. I ordered 210 in this and I was shocked how perfect it is!! Sounds like your experience has been like mine. 👏🏻 By the way you are a youthful looking 36. I'd guess you were 25 if I had just met you. Not lying! ☺️

It’s so interesting that this is a radiant/glowy finish and not natural because Risa Does Makeup has very oily skin and is loving this foundation. Seems to be working on all skin types so far. Need to give this a try! You look amazing 😻

It didn’t look “foundationy “ at all, and I agree about the perfect shade match 👌🏼 This foundation has had me super curious and I’m going to try it for sure. I think it’ll suit my dry/normal & mature skin type very well. I have a shade in mind. I have combo mature skin (oily t-zone, normal) and I played around with my primers and I can wear this without it getting super oily. I do still blot by my nose which I have to with everything, but it stays put. I do set it!

Skincare in foundation…. Don’t get me wrong I understand why many brands are doing it, but personally I prefer to have my skincare as just that and my makeup as just that. Because it’s pointless putting it in foundation for a majority of people as they won’t benefit on any way from it! Because once you’ve put your serums on you generally go in with a moisturiser, then sunscreen then more often than not a primer. So you’ve got no chance of a majority of the skincare in the foundations even getting close to the skin, let alone penetrating it to actually do anything. There is a reason why you start with water based or thinner toners and serums and finish with moisturiser to help lock it in. Rule of thumb is thinnest to thickest! Then a primer is generally designed to put a barrier between the foundation and skin to protect it and also help it last. So personally I feel skincare is pointless in makeup for that reason. On top of that the skincare element is usually more than 6 down the ingredients list, so it’s very minimal as it is!

I agree with you on the skincare in makeup. Even SPF in foundations. I use wayyyy more spf than I do foundation so if someone was to use foundation just as SPF they wouldn’t be using enough.

@@MakeupByCheryl yes that’s another one I can’t get on board with. Because it does encourage people to think they are going to get that amount of protection and they’re just not! Nobody uses the amount you’d need to get the level of protection! But it’s an additional amount of sunscreen I guess but it should be made clear on the packaging or something that it’s not going to give you the level shown unless you use a teaspoons worth! 🙄 xx

Hi Cheryl I also live in Ontario. I live in Pelham the closest Sephora is in Saint Catherine’s and it’s not a very good one lol they don’t give out foundation samples. I love the Sephora at Sherway Gardens and Square One I was wondering if you knew if they give out foundation samples. I have no qualms about driving there to get one 😉.
