This shade is great. It's _almost_ too dark, almost. Which again, isn't that amazing? How often does that happen. I ended up getting this product for my little sisters and cousin after the last video. To those that remember my little cousin is darker than us. It matched! Perfectly! And even the light shades are very nuanced and great, they all loved it. But it especially felt so great to see our cousin happy and included trying out different looks with my sisters. Unlike that concealer where she'd have to stay there trying to mix the black trying to fit in, this was 5 teenage girls, 2 of them german pasty white, 2 bronze latinas, and 1 african princess and all 5 went straight from the bottle and then had fun all afternoon doing their eyeshadow looks and getting ready for the night (I took them to a dave & busters and a restaurant!). In my house when it comes to merchandise I vote with my money, and idc if some product is amazing for us but aren't inclusive. If everyone can't use it we don't buy. Period. That's the only way we as a society can dictate market direction. And let's be honest. Black women and dark skinned women are a huge huge part of the cosmetic and beauty industry. (I take after my german father, but my grandmother was the first of her generation to be born as a free woman, her mother was a freed slave. So I see all shades in my family). My darker aunts and family would always have the newest hair style, product, lip, eyes, skin. They'd spend so much money. But for so many decades we just settled for "here's a black one, just mix it with shades and try to make your skin color! we're inclusive! -_-... I'm the cliche stereotypical guy that wears no makeup and etc, so I don't have to tell the women here. But can you imagine being a teenage girl, you're going out to see friends that night, and you have to worry about mixing and matching and doing a whole science experiment to get it right? And that's a CONCEALER! It's literally for when you want to hide some blemish or some issue and the most critical part of makeup. I used to buy the darkest shades of stuff and hope for the best and some times they'd all get together for the presents and there's my cousin on the side trying to be polite and saying she can use the deepest shade some brand hand as concealer or that its ok because she cares more about the eyes. When I know deep inside she was trying to keep it together to not show the hurt from not being able to have fun with her cousins. She's almost exactly your skin tone, so after finding your channel every time there's an item you say it's great I buy! And ever since then it's been so much fun seeing the girls have fun. Even when my youtube channel opens up sometimes in places and the guys give me a quizzical look as to why I follow a beauty channel 😂. I always tell them they can't tell but I'm wearing lots of stuff and keep them guessing 😇

wow this shade... Beautiful. With the foundation a little definitely goes a long way lol. I think this shade is perfect for you! looks amazing. also a note for others when trying to find a match with a few of their other deep undertones, some actually blends a lot deeper than you would think when compared to just looking at a swatch. when they matched me with a shade I was confused and I fought it thinking it was WAY to light but when I actually applied it, it was great. love 570 on you, looks beautiful.

Yup 580 swatches like like would work but it blended deeper. So with 570 I blended it in in the store and it looked so good

yea, I noticed that oxidization deepens a lot of the serums/makeup that I've used along the years (specifically liquid foundation, liquid lipsticks & some normal lipsticks) taking note of it makes choosing my preferred shade easier for me 😗👌

Haus Labs is my favorite! As a mature black female, it's the best looking foundation( Shade 370) along with the Bio-Blurring powder( translucent). It photographs so beautifully on me! I'm usually a warm, with this line I'm a neutral. It is better to swatch in the store, because my first try was wrong because I didn't swatch first. I know I'm saying this months later, but for anyone who is still looking to try this, it's a game changer.

LADYYY YOU ARE SO PRETTY and i really love how you do your videos. the way you talk is so engaging and fun, and even though i cant follow any of your makeup looks (i have a light skin typical of southeast asians), i honestly really enjoy your videos. and i think it's amazing how happy you are with the many shades this brand gets to offer you :D yay for more inclusive shades!!!! i can't really relate personally, but i have a friend who has brown skin and she has admitted to struggling here in my country bc they dont offer many shades that really fit her. most of our shades are light brown, semi dark brown or very light pink, so she admitted to really loving overseas brands like this bc they /do/ offer her shade! that kind of happiness is really second to none :) i hope inclusive brands like this get to appear in my country as well. im sure lots of people here will appreciate that, since my country is incredibly diverse. anyway, i really want to say i love your videos, and even without any make up you're already so very pretty! of course, after that, you're gorgeous ^0^ thank you for this video!

aaa yes i’m so excited!! i am mixed (light skin) so i fall into a very weird category when it comes to finding the right undertone for me. my mom has a very red undertone and my dad is very yellow, almost green, which made a very odd mix for me. i find that most foundations are just too pink for my skin and colder undertones are too… cold lol but maybe haus will pull through for me 🙏

I need the lightest foundation ever and 2. if the extremes of the shade range are good, I know the foundation is good. Because those are the most difficult to formulate.

570 looks great! weird question but by any chance did you see what 560 looks like when blended in?? I use Juvia's Place 120/ fenty 490 and the Sephora lady was so adamant that 560 would be my match when I told her the shades of my different foundations LOL. I'm a similar shade to you and when you swatched the 560 it looked really off. I'm wondering if maybe its one that blends in nicely? or something. I can't go to the store and had a friend pick me up 560. but seeing this I'm now thinking I might have to ask if they can swap it before they come to visit. since the 570 looks like a great match.

The foundation is supposed to act as a BASE, so that your concealer blends more smoothly and eventually underneath your eyes. but this simply… isn’t true for everyone. An additional layer of product can look heavier under the eyes on a lot of us, especially if using a color corrector as well. I’m glad that you don’t seem to deal with heavy creasing or anything like that but the under-eye area is very delicate and different for everyone! (not to mention there is no one way to do makeup anyway)
