There is no culture without influences today. Hausa people have been in contact with arabs, europeans, and others. What makes people grow is their ability to learn from others and integrate the good learning to their culture. Indians have Mongolian, arab, and european influences too.

@sockslynee I am not talking about Songhai/Djerma/Zarma people that is a completely different language group. I am talking about people like Harouna Goge who is a master at Goje. Whatever happened to those kind of music? How did those beautiful musics sang by Dr.Mamman Shata give way to this nonsense. You are right about one thing I don't speak Hausa as well as my native language of Fulfulde. I am not Hausa I am Fula.

The igbo man/woman is correct though. Although this song is sang in Hausa, it is influenced by Bollywood. If you want to hear traditional/real Hausa music, listen to Nasiru Garbasuka, Maman Shata, or some others. The Hausa music in Niger for example is more traditional and has no Indian influence.
@MalamIbnMalam14 жыл бұрын
Sudan people do not sing like this though in many Sudanese cultures. I know that Hausa in Nigeria love Indian movie/film so they have adopted a lot of Bollywood type music instead of singing real Hausa music like the one on my profile (Harouna Goge, Maman Shata, Nasiru Garbasuka those are real Hausa musics).

What part of Mali are you talking about? No Mali music sound Indian.

What kind of attitude problem? am just being real and am 100% African hausa/fulani on my dad side and hausa/wolof on my mum side lmao

No one is better than the other, we are all one despite our differences. You started the beef saying, the hausas are copying indian culture not knowing that they are an afro asiatic people even their language speaks for itself.
@sts1716 жыл бұрын
is it only Indians that sing like that. or was it made by Indians? No. Hausa is a common language in Nigeria, and Country of Niger. and other western Africa Countries. this ppl migrated from sudan. its like saying that Sudan people are Indians.
@sockslynee14 жыл бұрын
Indians are using computers too to create faster beats on top of drums its the same thing here. traditional/classical music both in HINDI and HAUSA differ from their modern music, period. female singers in both cultures have high pitched voices. if you dont like what you are hearing then leave, most the ppl here commenting are not even hausa so how would you know, what hausa things are????
@MalamIbnMalam13 жыл бұрын
@sockslynee People in Niger sound different accent wise in Zinder, Maradi, etc. you are wrong about in Niger the only Hausa singer are female. That is completely wrong! There are many male Hausa singers like Hassane Boukary from Maradi, and many others. I don't waste my time with this nonsense movie music. The real best Hausa music is from Niger, the most traditional and least corrupted Hausa music not influenced by other culture is from Niger. Look at my profile for real Hausa music.

Aint hatin but that doesnt mean that Hausawa (or other Muslim West Africans) are Indian or Asian, there are still loads of differences between Indian music and Hausa music... Hausa movie stars need to learn how to use their own voices to sing in a pure Hausa way and not turn to using voice-altering synthesizers to make their voices sound like Indians singing Hausa! check my vids for what I mean about pure Hausa style! ;)

Thats a fucking lie. Hausa is a common language spoken in West Africa. its even in my Country Nigeria.

What are u trying to say now am not good?you don't even know me to judge me you getting mad for what i said of you guys being ugly?get over it am 95% hausa and not all of them are good there is good and bad in every tribe lmao
@MalamIbnMalam14 жыл бұрын
The sad thing about you, who claims to be an African, not only that a Hausa is that you promote Tribalism. You say that "your thing is better than someone elses" That is very un-Hausa like to me.
@MalamIbnMalam14 жыл бұрын
I am saying that you have a terrible attitude, and that no Hausa person I have ever met is like that. I am not mad, why should I be mad at someone I can not see. I pity you, because the ones who use dirty language in this world are the ones who truly are not happy in life. Yo Alla yaaru yonki yesso. May God look over you.
