I am 71 years old and have been a music lover all my life, but at the end of this piece I heard for the first time a person make their guitar cry!

It’s been 5 years and this song still absolutely destroys me. “I wouldn’t have blamed you for leaving me there on the porch while you drink gasoline, because it’s what you needed so bad” fuck man. hurts even after the 200th time

Not me Songs all sound the same, melodies boring as shit, makes no decisions in terms of composition, just floats by on basic picking patterns while sounding ethereal.
@Michael-lt4rm7 жыл бұрын
Long S5 I think there's a fine line between simple and basic. I feel that some artists do too much and it takes away from the song. Lyrically, she's wonderful, and I feel that does a nice job of focusing attention there instead of hiding it behind complicated melodies. Different strokes for different folks, man.

I wake up with the same pain every night, Digging in ashes and out of sight. Clearing my chest for something to burn, Ash from a decorative urn you keep in your mantle piece Like a trophy for everything. We learn eventually. Call me a coward but I'm too scared to leave 'Cause I want you to be the last thing I see Call me a coward but I'm too scared to leave Watched you pouring lighter fluid out onto the leaves And I would have loved you with the dying fire If I let you smother me now, to the embers Frost bite turning my limbs as black as cinders, a funeral pyre But I would have stayed, if you had asked me to Stood outside until my lips turned blue I wouldn't have blamed you For leaving me there on the porch While you drink gasoline Because its what you needed so bad But its true. There's nothing that we could do. Traducir al español
