I had a Tower, loved it (until I dropped it) not as wide as Keefs, but deceiving what can fit in, favourite function, definitely the rotisserie. Oh, bought a ninja dual, also very good but no rotisserie

Hi Keef! One of the things I use my airfryer most often for is no knead bread rolls. Probably 15 mins of total effort, but 2 days of waiting around. Here’s a copy and paste of my notes I use, in case of interest to you. For 8 crusty bread rolls: 1. Mix 420g flour, 1 level tsp instant dried yeast, 1.5 lvl tsp salt in a 3 litre lidded plastic box. (Ideally high protein bread flour, but plain flour also works fine. No need to sieve it) 2. Add 310g cold water and mix to combine with a spoon until you have a shaggy mess (no dry areas of flour). Scrape the spoon off, put lid on box and set aside for 48 hours if ambient is 16C, or 36 hours at 20C, or 24 hours if it’s summer and 25C+. Plain flour needs less rise time, maybe half? 3. When contents have risen 3/4 of the way up the 3 litre box, turn out onto a floured board (use a bit of dough to pick up any remnants which stick to the plastic box). Add a couple of folds to make one big doughball. 4.Divide dough into 8 equalish pieces then fold into individual balls, turn upside down and cut ears with sharp scissors or knife. Set aside for final rise on a floured board covered with clingfilm. 5.After 2-3 hours (1 hour in summer), with floured fingers carefully transfer doughballs to airfryer (my 3.5l airfryer will take 4 at a time) and cook 200C 20 mins with no preheat. You can turn the rolls over after 15 mins to get the undersides more coloured. Begin early in the morning on day 1, and by lunchtime day 3 you have hot bread rolls for lunch! Start again on the morning of day 4 and you’ll have a fresh batch ready to take over when the first ones are running out.

That's a great bit of kit especially in these times of high energy prices, I've been using that plastic microwave "pressure cooker" that I got off the ebay for around £8, Works fine & reduces the cooking time over stove top cooking but the only thing I don't like about is whatever colour of food you cook in it stains it that colour. I've gone from carrot orange to brown beef coloured

I am in the market for a combination Mini-Oven and Rotiserie (Air Fryer type thing) but unfortunately £300+ is more than my budget. My Main (unused at the moment most of the time) cost only a little more than that albeit a few years ago (streuth 20, better check current prices). The very best Air Fryer I have had for Chips has been the Tefal thingy with a Stirrer Arm which I bought a long time ago for a massive discount from Tesco I think and it expired about 6-9 months ago now and a current one is also a bit more than I want to pay, hence the Rotating Chip Basket looks interesting. A more budget device is in my price range.

James I got the power xl from agsos £139 including a basket for chips ect and a rotisserie. But all brands are good buy I like this one.

Hi Keef! Always love your recipes and instructions. But what i don’t get is why is this an air-fryer? It looks just like a normal convection oven? What’s the difference? I always thought that the air-fryer craze is just a passing fad and it is just another kitchen gimmick they’re trying to push to us clueless consumers. But you seem to like it.

Air fryers are just mini convection ovens - air is heated by electrical elements and circulated by a fan. I like it because it's economical - you're heating a much smaller volume of air than in a conventional oven.

I’ve had a what they call a convection countertop oven here in the USA for quite a few years and only use my stove oven when doing big batch items or roasts for Xmas etc. mine is an Oster French door not impressed with them as they sometime slam on you when removing items. I think all this started when people started downsizing to tiny homes and RV living where saving space is optimum 🤷‍♀️ That oven looks top notch 👍🏼

I'm sorry you thought the music was too loud. I've ended all of my videos like that (over 600 of them) and nobody has ever complained. I agree with your dislike of loud music that drowns out speech but I have lousy hearing and don't have any trouble hearing the speech over the music on my videos.

Just my frustration with almost every video we seem to watch now on KZbin, adverts, even loud music all the way through tv documentaries gets a bit much, some music even drowns out what is being said in the videos, especially for those of us struggling to hear. I personally think your videos are great and so informative that the music is not needed to try improve something that is already great. I do hope I have not offended you, and please continue to make great videos.

That's a pretty big piece of equipment, not sure I'd have room for it since all the little appliances are taking up so much counter space that I dish up on top of my ceramic stove top these days. I know small appliances save power but add them up and they take up a lot of sq footage too. My kitchen doesn't have a pantry and I've got kitchen things all over the place already. Guess it's a no from me. My toaster oven says it's also convection though so maybe I'll try that function out. Had it for 14 years and never used it that way, me bad. Thanks for the demo Keef. My daughter has an air fryer and says she uses it for everything now. I'm being softened up aren't I? Hm...🤔🥴

That looks a great oven but we in the UK are paying £161.29 more than EU. Rip off Britton again. UK price £389.99 EU price euro 259.99 at today’s rate =£228.70 a difference of £161.29 I think I got this right. That UK plug must be an expensive one. I wonder if you can order it from a EU Amazon may have to pay delivery.😁

What’s the power consumption? How does it compare to a regular oven?

It's 1600 Watts. I can't tell you exactly what the consumption is but in comparison to the size of a regular oven you're heating less air and for a shorter time so it's definitely using less power.
