Its super hidden, not even my Havel count figure it out. android auto took me 5 cables to figrure out and its now stable haha, Thanks for your videos. And I love the car.

Hi Dimitri, I got Lux 3 weeks ago and loves it.. Jumping from corolla sedan into this car was like I got into truck.. It is well build and of good quality. Only thing Im still struggling is when taking off turbo charger kick in and I find it soo hard to keep on speed limit.. Might get used to it later as I use car.. I did switch off main ELK off but still comes on when cruise controll is in use.. I just ignore warning bip and keep driving my way.. I got 2k kms on mine as was demo model but definetly drives well.. On freeway at 100kmh looks like its standing in place, handling very well.. Definetly good car for city or county roads.. Will reccomend to other people as well..

H6 is a great car, as I said many times. It's the switch to novated lease and sale after 1 year that hit me hard in terms of depreciation. But if you plan to drive this car into the ground, I'd say the value is still unbeatable.
@pabloandresmalverdesahd908110 ай бұрын
My Haval H6 is already 10k kilometers, and I still love it. I feel the intelligent cruise control makes long trips much less tiring than having to control every aspect of driving myself. In vacations, we usually take it for 500-kilometer trips or longer, even 1 thousand, and it is, by far, less tiring than the same trip in my old Changan CS35 MT. I love the size of the trunk, I mean, it fits all my stuff when going out for vacations. It is a little bit scary, anyway, how easily it builds up speed. If you don't look at the speedometer you can't simply tell what speed you're driving at. It is so smooth that you can't even feel small bumps on the road.
@ValueCarsAU10 ай бұрын
It's great value for money, I still believe that. Just a few annoyances here and there and very high depreciation if you want to sell privately after a year of ownership. Ouch, it'll hurt! 😉

Hi Dimitri and everybody else, I have a 2023 H6GT ultra, I have had the usual trouble with connection of my phone to the android auto USB port. the problem appears to be a sensitivity to USB cables. Some work properly some dont, it pays to try a few. I now have bought a Carsifi wireless android connector, The unit plugs into your USB port and wirelessly connects to your phone where ever it is in the car, I just lay mine on the charge pad, when I first got it I used the supplied cable, even "it" did not connect properly, so I tried another cable I had sitting around at home and it has worked perfectly since then. the only time I get a drop out is when I am near somewhere with a strong radio transmission ie: Perth airport or major road works. All manual and verbal commands to the phone work, calls, messaging, Waze, Google Maps, Spotify etc. Its around $130 AUD, just "google" it. Cheers Brian in Western Australia

@@ValueCarsAU Thanks Dimitri, I currently have the programing button on the steering wheel, the one marked as a * set to operate race mode but I am wondering if it could be assigned to the ELK, which would be a more useful one click shortcut to kill ELK, I will give it a try today. Tried it, no luck, even in the sub menus 🤧
@cybermatstrikes7557 Жыл бұрын
I have Haval H6 Ultra Hybrid which also has reached 5000km. I'm, not a fan of the widgets/menus in the head unit, too easy to accidentally drill in and open sub-menus. Screen real estate is wasted in UI design and the head unit and driver instrumentation font are too small. I'm getting awesome performance and fuel economy. I did 6l/100km over 920km with 54L this fortnight AROUND town on 91 RON! I'm very happy with the car. I am starting to think I'd go for a Tank 300 Hybrid for better seats and more dash buttons so not dependent on the media centre for basic AC/Seat Heating functions. I have an old Prado for offroad, maybe I could have gone to one car with Tank 300 instead of H6.

Had mine for 8months and 20k kilometers. Not a single issue with chassis, engine, transmission... The only one i have is that, after updating my phone software, multimedia in Haval H6 starts bugging (buttons not showing, but they are there and you can tap on them..or google maps gets stuck until you unlock your phone). It happens both with Samsung and Xiaomi. Overall, comfy car, ideal for long distances...in the urban environment its a bit bulky and fuel consumption cant go below 14liters :) 8.5/10, would gladly recommend it to anyone who are traveling a lot Vehicle: Haval H6 2.0T 4x4 with Supreme Package

I've also noticed that Android Auto when connected from my Xiaomi becomes weird, like you said, sometimes acting very erratic, e.g. I could even disable Bluetooth connectivity (thinking it would reset it), but the phone just turns Bluetooth back on by itself! It's weird stuff, but nothing too critical.

Thank you for your reviews. I have watched a few. We are on a hunt for a new family car. We have 3 kids. Putting aside most of the needs and wants we are looking for in a car, What i have struggled to find in any review videos within the cars we're looking at, is the car seat in the middle to show the room on the sides. I have a 13, 11, and 3 year old. So the 3 year old sits in the middle. So, I'm trying to make sure the kids have the room in the back with the carseat in the middle. We do get the kids to sit in the back most of the time when looking at cars but its not ideal to carry the car seat around too 😅
@ValueCarsAU11 ай бұрын
Hey welcome to the channel. With three kids and one is a teenager, I'd say you need plenty of room at the back AND room for storage if you plan to travel all 5 of you somewhere... So, I wouldn't recommend a standard 5 seater SUV and you're be better off researching 7 seaters (just to have more room at the back and fold the rear row for extra storage), or take a look at a family wagon such as Subaru Outback or even something like Honda ZR-V. Your standard 5 Seater SUV like Haval H6 might fit the budget, but I think it would get a little packed if you travel with the whole family on a regular basis.

@@cybermatstrikes7557 I haven't test driven the H6 hybrid but I know it allows for much more EV mode driving than the RAV4 given the much larger battery (and Lithium ion as opposed to the Toyota nickle hydride). What's your thought about the H6 8-speaker sound system ?
@cybermatstrikes7557 Жыл бұрын
@@nostradamus2642 it does use EV a lot around town which is why I've achieved a urban fuel economy is better than highway kms. Torque is good. I don't know why people would consider a full EV currently as this is a better solution at a very compelling price point. The sound system is ok but it could do with a sub. Keen to listen to infinity sound in Tank300. It works and sounds good but not great.

have you test driven the MG zst EV yet?

I drove MG HS PHEV, not ZST EV.... Should try and get that done soon, but personally wasn't too interested, I'll be honest

With enough desire, skill and/or money to throw at it you could fit virtually anything anywhere... 🙄🤣

Does anyone know when will the Phev H6 release?
@ValueCarsAU Жыл бұрын
I have no idea and frankly thought they already have released. Maybe not, I'm not sure.

@@ValueCarsAU As I know that China mainland has released the H6 Phev small battery version. Tailand has released the long distance version.

If no 95 fuel, I'd just use 91 once or twice and then go back to 95 - nothing is gonna happen... 98 is WAY too expensive.

I find the 360 camera under utilized, it should have allowed when indicating at higher speeds even for zst. Yes zst 360 is not at high resolution but does the job. I don’t need a sat nav if there is CarPlay.

At least the RAV 4 and Mazda will be sellable in 10 years for a reasonable price. If a backpacker wants a cheap car to drive across Australia, yes a good choice over the old rusty L300 or Hiace.
@ValueCarsAU Жыл бұрын
You're not wrong that backpackers and people who are after reasonably resellable 10+ year old cars will look at Toyotas rather than this. But if you live NOW and want quality and pleasure of driving around NOW, at a much lower price point, it's not even a competition.
