God bless the hard working people of the Faroe Islands for the wonderfully delicious salmon you produce. I am in the United States, Chicago to be exact, and I am thankful my local grocer stocks fresh Faroe Island salmon. My Wife and I eat FI Salmon several times a month. One year for my birthday I had a gorgeous filet air shipped to Colorado and it was worth every penny.

Ocean raised is a good compromise or in-between... this is one of our best sellers, thank you for keeping them clean

Why is ocean-raised salmon better? Am I missing something?

I will buy even if they will cost me 100% more, but for wild. Not farmed

Worth every penny. If you also like Salmon as sashimi, the Faroese Salmon is safe to eat raw as sashimi without the need for prior freezing.

SAY no to GRIND TRAP -- whale and Dolphin Massacre
@NIKOLAP72 жыл бұрын
This has nothing to do with the Grindadráp. Faroese laws explicitly forbid export of whale meat. The meat is contaminated with mercury, so if the Grindadráp ends it should be for those medical reason. If the whale meat and blubber weren't contaminated with mercury, would be very healthy food.

@@NIKOLAP7 I was stationed in Japan with the USAF back in the 1960s, before eating whale was frowned on. I must admit that I ate and enjoyed it, especially raw as sashimi.

@@charliesommers9599 Usually whale meat is cooked, but I didn't knew that it can be eaten raw. Now due to contamination, whale meat and blubber are not recommended for human consumption which is a shame. Pollution kills far more whales and dolphins than whale hunts.
