I've said this before, but Ada lives defensively. Her charm abilities protect her from everyone, and her senreigan abilities allow her to spy on anyone. To take the next step in her character, she'll need to learn to trust people who could potentially hurt her. She'll also need to choose healthy relationships.

I think she knows but is fine with it because she may have grew accustomed to having friends that don’t love her. While also having Boruto not be a baby face anymore and Kawaki going to further extremes while pretending to be Boruto and ruining his relationships with everyone in the village slowly over time. Another that points to her knowing is that if she did know and wanted them killed for it she has every means to do it and everyone would believe her and she is also reassuring Sarada they could always rewrite peoples memories again which I feel she wouldn’t tell her if she didn’t mean that.

I think people are forgetting that Boruto Two Blue Vortex is not just about god tier power ups, but about a new generation, a new era where power and recognition is not enough anymore when it comes to address current issues. Kawaki said to Boruto the era of shinobi is over and if you think about it hey Shikamaru is the perfect example of it, I dont even think Shikamaru is 100% affected by Eidas omnipotence, he was the only one that actually was able to analyzed it when he first met her and instead of fighting it he decided to go with it and use his intelligence and wisdom to make her take his side, he knows Sarada and Sumire aren't affected by Eidas shinjutsu and I know for fact that he is playing a mind game here, kind of making Sarada to awaken her full potential by pushing her to her limits so he can use her as a weapon towards Eida and Daemon, that's we got a flash back of him telling both of them to play the game with Eida. Shikamaru knows that if Sasuke made the decision he made last minute is because of a reason, cuz he is Naruto's friend and has gone above and beyond for Naruto after the war. Eida might be powerful but she lacks the wisdom, intelligence and knowledge Shikamaru possess. Good example Shikamaru was the only one in the entire Naruto series to literally not kill but fully disintegrate an immortal person not using his physical power but his mind power, his intelligence and he has fooled powerful opponents as he wants. Long story short he wont allow Eida to affect Sarada and Sumire in any kind of way. I can see that Shikamaru is cooking something and he's playing the game like he only knows how to do! Shikamaru is Hokage now because in this era there's no conflicts between nations, so no extreme god level power is needed to be Hokage, the thread is from outside even their world, so only smart decisions, wisdom, experience and true intelligence can take the lead.

I don't beleive that Ada is a Shikamaru and Amado level strategist when it comes to the long term. She may be a great tactician because she doesn't have to worry about anyone hitting her and she can see everything coming, but too much information makes the brain go kablooey! She suffers from the same depression & anxiety that is rampant in our own information filled world. While Shikamaru and Amado have massive amounts of information in their heads, yet it doesn't scratch the surface of the vast quantities of data Ada has access to. Too many options can be a nightmare when there's not enough time to choose the appropriate response. Ada wants friends, but she wants to be loved without the needing to forgive the ones she loves. I believe that the first time she ever used Omnipotence was when she was introduced to Jigen, and she may have, in that instance, wished for her ability to be loved by everyone to avoid any threats. I think witnessing that power would have been the reason for Jigen to push them both off for disposal since Isshiki didn't want to risk his current vessel succumbing to other unknown shinjutsu they could possess. Since her initial wish for love came as a primary condition for her own protection, she will be devastated when she inevitably feels those feelings of betrayal that will come for her in the future of this story. There is a small chance that she is and has been aware of her friends' deception, but is simply apathetic since they haven't presented any ill will towards her despite her being able to see everything they could have done or could be doing. If they walk like friends, if they talk like friends, they're friends. As a friend, she may be very forgiving because she just doesn't care about things that don't have anything to do with her. They hang out with her, they don't seem to be pushy with each other, and they seem to be comfortable talking about unpopular topics despite their being an ongoing mission to subdue Ada if deemed necessary. It's Ada's anxiety that will cause her to either lose the only friends she could possibly have or gain a more trustworty and forgiving relationship than she has ever known. I believe that even if they come to blows, Sumire and Sarada are the ones in the driver's seat for whether Ada remains a friend or a foe. Sarada doesn't have her rival like her dad had Naruto, and I think that Sarada will fight to keep her friend in the end in the same way her father was the chosen rival of Lord 7th. A future Hokage with multiple Otsutsuki-level friends, that Sarada is the one Konaha deserves.

1. Fused Momoshiki used Shikamaru's shadow paralysis jutsu on them to where they couldn't move so Boruto had to throw his vanishing rasengan in order to free them and save them. 2. After the fight vs Naruto and Sasuke, FUSED Momoshiki replenished his health and chakra with the scientific ninja tool from Katasuke, ate 3 more chakra pills which replenished him even further, and still lost 1v1 to *KID* Boruto while Naruto and Sasuke were pinned down by chakra rods. 3. *BASE* Boruto using a shadow clone was capable of blitzing FUSED Momoshiki, punch him in the stomach, activate his Jougan, counted FUSED Momoshiki's taijutsu, which created an opening for another vanishing rasengan hit to his ribcage all before the real Boruto came out of the sky with his giant vanishing rasengan(which was mixed with BOTH Boruto and Naruto's chakra) to defeat FUSED Momoshiki but the *FACT* still remains that *KID* Boruto did indeed fight *FUSED* Momoshiki *1v1* and held his own and defeated him proving he's already Otsutsuki tier which is NOT *DEBATABLE*

The basis for this theory is why I disagree with the conclusion and came up with my own that it's actually Sarada's MS ability that makes it so Eida can't see her, something that either negates or counteracts other dojutsu. This is because of a few big things: 1. with the way Eida's power works there is no suspicion, especially given how openly Sarada has been shown advocating for Boruto. She has to know that Sarada isn't affected. 2. Shikamaru's conversation with Sarada makes it clear that it is established between them that Eida doesn't know, which given how intelligent he is and well versed he is in Eida's powers, means that for whatever reason Eida can't know what Sarada has been up to. Otherwise the conversation he had with her right before she went to Eida would have exposed her and triggered the exact reaction he warned her about. And 3. Shikamaru also believes that if Eida found out they were unaffected, they would be in mortal danger from her and Daemon. Which wouldn't make sense if they were simply unaffected because they love Boruto- it's not like they can spread the love and break the spell (I hope not)- but if Sarada has a seriously strong MS ability like that there is plenty of reason for them to take such action regardless of the consequences they would face. So I do think Eida is playing with them, but she's doing it because she wants to know not if they are unaffected but why. Not even Otsusuki's are immune to her senriegan's sight so if Sarada suddenly became immune that would make her the most interesting person in the world to Eida. She'd likely assume it had something to do with her MS, but there'd be no way to confirm that without starting a fight so she has to try and figure Sarada's abilities out to decipher if she or someone else is the cause so she knows who to deal with and how. But it also explains why Shikamaru would take such a risk to begin with, because despite Sarada's open disrespect of him he allows her in his circle and trusts her enough to have her with Eida. We've all been expecting Sarada's MS ability to be able to counter Eida's eyes and this would be the perfect way to do so, and it might even explain why she offered Sarada a wish and why Sarada refused it. If she suspects that Sarada may have some new ability that protects her then offering to use her eyes for Sarada would expose that, which is exactly why Sarada would decline something that is literally what she wants. This would even allow for Eida to develop a true friendship with Sarada, being that her dojutsu would make her the only true equal Eida has as again even Boruto and Kawaki, who are immune to her charm, are not immune to her sight. This would make Sarada the only person she truly had to trust and develop a real relationship with because none of her powers could be used against Sarada. It could work like in her left eye is the ability to negate/reflect dojutsu and in her right eye the ability to copy it for a time. So in Eida's case any conversation Sarada has would be one she couldn't see, meaning her and Sumarae could communicate openly and explaining why she has been openly #teamBoruto #notmyhokage, because she knows she's safe. Sarada is also very smart, and I don't see her recklessly putting herself in harms way for no reason.

My initial thoughts on Ada were wrong. I thought she didn't add much to the story, and for a period of time her presence did hurt the story because of the way she affected Code's character at that time. But her story has some compelling elements to it that play into the theme of love.

I think sasuke knew he would end up being controlled. He felt the omnipotence compelling him more and more and decided that the only way to really help Boruto would be to let him absorb him. I think that’s why he doesn’t look at sarada, that’s why he has Sasuke sword, and knows how to use it. And is twice as powerful. I think that’s why momoshiki doesn’t interfere, he’s now being dealt with mentally by sasuke.

@@fly463 I don’t think so. If omnipotence only gets worse as time goes on, then eventually sasuke would end up hunting Boruto. Pretty sure that’s something he’d have to constantly try to control. Also going there separate ways doesn’t explain why boruto has a sword and is Sasuke level with it and doesn’t explain boruto power up. Boruto absorbing Sasuke is really the only way to get those power ups. Who do you think trained Boruto if sasuke went his separate ways? I really think I got this one. And no Sasuke is not the claw grime with the rinnegan. That claw grime is being used as a window for the juvenile main body to learn without leaving. The ten tails is a wild animal but still has its own rinnegan. Code made it smart enough to learn and that’s what it’s doing now. Code messed that package up.

I'm not sure that Kawaki would really care. I don't get the feeling they are in a relationship. The whole village already thinks she's mad for defending Boruto, and killing Ada wouldn't stop the shinjutsu either. There's nothing Sarada can do, unless her MS can somehow trick Ada into rewriting everybody's memories back to normal as her deepest wish, but when Ada realizes it, what would stop her from using omnipotence again as revenge? So I agree that talking no jutsu is still a better decision. The real threat though, is Daemon. He would eliminate any perceived threat to his sister.

Two things…. 1st, I don’t remember what chapter, but when Ada arrived in the leaf village before the time skip, Ada seemed to WONDER if Sarada and Sumire were affected by her charm ability. WHY? That always bugged me. What made her think there was a possibility? She seemed disheartened when they acted like they actually were charmed. 2nd, I think as soon as Boruto showed up, Saradas cover is blown. Anyone else would likely just try to please Ada. But Sarada will fight anyone for Borutos sake. She won’t be able to even pretend that adas charm has a hold on her anymore when she’s the only one defending Boruto.

Ada is most likely going to the reason for Konohas destruction. Think about it. Once she figures out that there are at least 2 people who are immune to her charm, she will most likely make a comment about how them remembering the true past, which will definitely throw Shikamaru for a loop. He will question Kawaki at some point, thus confirming things for him and that's the tipping point. Kawaki will go on a rampage, finally able to let loose after having to sell his lies for years. Sarada during this TS is written as an idiot imo. Girl stayed whinning at Shikamaru for 3 yrs straight and basically comprimised her position the entire timr. She wants to be hokage but can't understand the position she's in and how to act as a shinobi. It's annoying because she's in a similar position to her uncle by being the middleman between the leaf and Boruto/Sasuke, so we should have gotten a more secretive and serious Sarada that understands the assignment. Instead we got incompetence.
