Iron Dome is not designed for ballistic missiles that have a trajectory outside the atmosphere. It is for short range missiles like the rockets fired by Hamas. The Israelis have Arrow for high altitude missiles but it is ineffective against faster moving hypersonics. So is THAAD.

Not sure what you are basing your statements on but the latest block of THAAD is quite capable of tracking and shooting down hypersonic missiles in the upper atmosphere (an A.E./C, E. with a large American defense contractor's Missile Systems company.
