Great video! I recently did the flap seals of my 110, the previous version of yours and they are awful. I bought britparts and they don't seal very well and It lets more air and noise coming in to the van...keep up with the videos! ❤ Boris

Il be interested to see if those vent seals stop the leak, I'm having a mare with mine, got water on both footwells and also coming in between the tub and side panels

They look exactly like the seals I fitted 3 years ago from Britpart! The seals on mine were dropping so water was allowed to flow in, but the seals in the right place worked well. I fitted the seals, fitted the vents immediately and closed on the closed tight setting, left for 2 weeks + without touching them. As for the video format, yep much better, easier to watch and you come across better. I might actually watch more if they are like this, wouldn't watch the old videos as not actually that watchable in one go. ps your vents don't actually close properly, they are still open at the bottom, so that's why you never got too much pressure at the lower edge. tweak the hinge and bring the top out a little, and make sure the lever is on the top knotch. that makes a massive difference.

Hi , how did the seals settle down in the end? Started out with the flaps not quite parallel to the bulkhead when initially fitted, though to be expected to a degree I suspect. Keeping out water?

The problem I have is the misalignment of the old air vent flaps to the new bulkhead. Apart from that they are doing a good job.

Thanks for this video - very helpful to see. Perhaps a silly/ignorant question, I’m curious, why not prep & paint the back side of the louvers before applying the foam? Is it one of those “it’ll never be seen/exposed to the elements” kinda things? I haven’t replaced my bulkhead yet. Looking forward to this kind of task that will undoubtedly change the driving experience of my hole-ly ‘87 Ninety Hardtop.

Yeah, no need. It’s a aluminium and was painted and had no issues. It would be a waste of time and paint for me.
