Yes, I was worried that there would be some people watching because of specific bikes that might up and leave, but I think the whole electric experiment should be interesting. I'm definitely not turning my back on petrol bikes and who knows, there might be another KTM along the line, I have loved having the Duke.

I'll be honest, I haven't checked that yet, I know that when I added the Multistrada to my multi bike policy though, it virtually doubled it! I'll be bracing myself for the answer when I ask the question!🤣

Buying an electric does make you a bad fellow. I'm not convinced it letting the Thruxton R is a great idea. I understand you desire to wanting to be part of the new wave. If I had a crystal ball, I'd probably predict that at some point in the future I might end up with another Thruxton, as they are bloody great bikes! I've got to be honest, I'm loving it! Don't know if it means that I am getting old, but a windscreen, cruise control and a comfy seat are real selling points for me now!🤣. Plus it is an awesome bike anyway!!!

Watched your off road vid, to be honest didn't see anything but folks having fun on off road bikes. Trouble is more and more folks like to be offended. I'm more and more cautious about what I upload these days simply because you just know someone will complain or worse report your vid. Used to off-road on a WR250 and used to hoist wheelies down the road.....banable offence now if the police catch you! Microphones: I use a cheap Hamo laptop microphone but in conjunction with Rode Go 2 Wireless, had decent results As for electric bikes, not for me but never say never!

Cheers for that, it is really good getting some second opinions. I didn't intend on making anything offensive, but you are right, it is difficult not to offend people somewhere along the line nowadays! Cheers for the heads up on that microphone as well, I'll give it a go. I have bought the Go 2, based on your video and recommendation, which is excellent, but every mic I seem to use it with is so sensitive that it clips the audio virtually every time I speak. I have actually bought a cheap mic with bad reviews for sensitivity and that has helped, but its still not perfect. The irony is that most people are looking for the most high end, super sensitive mics for their audio, but, as we have ours an inch away from our mouths, we need the opposite and they are hard to find! I hadn't considered a laptop mic. Just out of interest what do you have the gain setting on your receiver set to? And as for the electric bikes, I thought I'd do what they call a deep dive and really see what one is like to live with... hopefully I don't end up regretting it! I'll still have the Multistrada.

@@TheBoltHoleBiker Tried twice to put the Amazon link to the microphone but good old KZbin automatically deletes links thinking they are spam. Just put Hama Voip Laptop Microphone in the search bar. The gain on the receiver on the Rode is definitely not set to most sensitive but as Carol did it I can't be exact. I prefer to lift the levels in the edit and I have to take any Insta audio higher just to reach the same Gopro settings. The set up has worked really well on our very recent Madeira tour first episode coming out on Saturday, hopefully you can make your mind up on the sound quality. Good luck with the electric bike, perhaps I should at least try one.

I'd definitely recommend a go on an electric bike, they are surprisingly fun at speed and surprisingly tame and relaxing even at low speeds.

I watched it, really didn't seem like you did anything wrong tbh. The only thing I can see grumpy folks being upset about is it's a large group. That wheelie also definitely looked accidental to me :P Honestly lad it looked grand to me, like I said large groups can be intimidating to some. Try to ignore grumps(I know it's basically impossible), I wouldn't see ye as being hooligans at all.
