@@michaelfranzese nothing is glamorous or beautiful about being a gangster. It's funny but I'm similar to Henry Hill minus the incarceration part I thought being a real tough guy would make me feel good but it didn't. I appreciate Mike's candid response to this sensitive subject. Also I applaud him for not romanticizing it like Hollywood has. Murder is always a terrible thing. Too many young men growing up back then as well as today have this idealistic view of the 'thug life'. Being a criminal is not glory and fame, it's living in constant fear of being killed or being arrested and sent to prison. I'm glad that lifestyle never appealed to me.

Michael is a liar if he never murdered anyone and he never got his bones meaning he could never been initiated into the mafia. He’s trying to say he’s the only person in the history of the mafia that didn’t commit a murder to get initiated if you believe that, you believe anything.

@@drdre4397 I agree. Interesting aside, in the occult, magick world and all that, there is a saying, Storming the kingdom of Heaven by force. The problem with this philosophy I think, is that if the King is stronger than whatever forces we try to storm Heaven with, we will lose. I understand very much the desire to see God, but going about it through different means, well is not for me anymore. If I am on Jesus' side, and I enlist the forces of his enemies for any gain, that does not say much for my love for Him. They are His enemies. Tempting as it is, just like criminality, so far we're going ok. I wish the best for Sammy though. But, for all my knowledge, there is only one path, one Door, to Heaven. Not Buddha not smoking the bud with the tribes, one Door. I mean no insult, but that is where the evidence leads me at least.

Well said bro. I agree with you. When the mafia is discussed, murder is one of those things that happens that seems to be more attractive to lots of people. The one thing that stands out to me about it and always did, was the corruption and the level of the corruption that took place. How it infiltrated levels of government and other systems, political or otherwise for as long as it did stands out. Yes murder kept some things from breaking...but, look at those involved now and then because of it and how it affected the BIG picture.

@@aggada3115 He's the one that tried to escape that life after seeing it's not for him. Criminals will always exist but this guy was used by God imo to bring his story to spread truth. A lot of people forget that without the gangs you would not get your alcohol, and other illegal stuff during the prohibition era. If tomorrow the government banned guns for example, you would need to go underground to buy your self defence weapons from these criminals to ensure your safety. Just because something is illegal (the ability to buy weapons to defend your family and friends in a dictatorship for instance) doesn't mean its immoral. And just because something is legal (abortion which is murder of babies) doesn't mean it's moral. The government is not above the law. The public servants will be judged by God along with the rest of us. "Oh but my morals are different to yours" ok so live by them but if it harms others and their property don't get angry if you have to pay the damage for doing it when caught. If you don't like being murdered or robbed then you can't be angry if others aren't either. We are all sharing the same earth and we tolerate differences despite disagreeing with each other.

Michael, this needed to be said. And Michael's right, goes without saying, murder is something ugly that shouldn't be glorified as it is in movies. Yes, it's real life depicted many would say but maybe it's to be opposed not applauded or shown like some cool video game. That's downplaying the seriousness of it, in real life death is not always over in seconds like in movies it can be very ugly and damaging to your soul. Too many terrible things happen on this planet, almost as if intentional to keep our species occupied. It's crazy, the choice is there to do the opposite yet people still kill. I wonder if we're ever going to be different and if maybe we're the one little bad boy on the block in this universe and what we really need is a good lesson from some outside visitors to teach us better. Maybe we'll change then, knowing we're not alone that others actually observe us and expect more from us if we're ever going to be joined and taken seriously as other than a primitive aggressive world. Sadly, there's a whole industry making a living on war and division or making a killing I should say; the military industrial complex. The biggest criminals that keep global conflict alive, their geopolitical actions are much worse than any Italian Mafia could ever be. Worth noting; a changed man is a great man.

@@LarryFleetwood8675 something even worse than the glorified portrayal of murder outside of films, is seeing it actually take place, televised state execution. Going back to the invention of film, it's been photographed, and in many cases the bland casualness of some I've seen, that's even 50× more disturbing. Like it's simply an activity.

He is STILL making money off of “that life.” I would have a lot more respect for him as a role model if he stopped profiting off of that life, paid his own way as an insurance salesman or a grocery store manager or something, and gave his inspirational speeches and things completely free of charge for the sole reason that he wants to steer people away from that life and atone for his sins… imagine Judas profiting off a book he wrote on betraying Jesus. You'll be happy to know that he has been doing well now for a couple years, and has been going to church and reading his Bible every day. You have my deepest respect, Michael. I really respect your believes in honor, love and that hardcore life style it really is. Believe me, I know 💪🏻

I couldn't imagine disrespecting Michael, not to his face, not on the internet, not anywhere. He clearly is someone who has earned a certain level of respect. (and if you can't see that, then I feel sorry for you)

It's very obvious that he's killed someone. In order to be inducted into the mob, you have to kill someone, it's their law...

Here's a guy who I didn't think I'd like,,but who I've ended up really really liking as a person after watching him for the last week, very honest with himself, and I agree with lots that he says❤️

He has been involved in that is what he's saying, but he's never testified to any murders so he's not gonna risk being indicted. Especially at 72 yrs old. Those other guys all testified to their murders and can talk about them all they want

Well done brother! Accurately and tactfully handling a difficult subject and an important one while simultaneously demonstrating how we can be firm in our beliefs while respecting others who disagree or see things differently.
