Teams are doubling Brunson like crazy and not putting equal pressure on everyone else. That gives KAT the ability to do his thing. I honestly didn't expect the league to give Brunson this much respect. They are doubling him and full court pressing him. Not to mention, Bridges, OG, and surprisingly, Hart have all stepped up their offense. I can't wait for our defensive centers to come back. It's gonna be over for the league.

If you want to know why the knicks roster is built to ultimately fail in the playoffs, look no further than the Steve Nash Suns of the mid-late 2000's. Those teams had a 6 year run from 05-10 where in every season, they finished top 2 in offensive rtg and outside of the top 12 in defensive rtg. Despite being a dominant regular season team winning over 60 games twice and at least 54 games in five out of the six seasons, they couldn't make it to even one NBA finals. The knicks right now are 2nd in offensive rtg and 21st in defensive rtg. A healthy mitchell robinson would help, but there's no way he can bring the knicks from where they are now to inside the top 10 in defensive efficiency playing limited minutes, which is where they'll need to be to pose a real threat to boston/cleveland.
