Pro Tip: Build a wooden frame you can screw the lip to, so you can do the carbon work easier and not worry about changing the shape. Would love to see a JPS style with gold / bronze wheels

I’ve always learnt never to touch bulbs with bare hands, because your finger leave grease on te glass and beneath the greass the glass gets hotter and the bulb brakes quicker….besides that, killer video….again🙏🏻

I like it and I don't dislike the side rubber trim. It blends in well with the completed side. The only thing that I think would be better was if it blended seamlessly into the rock guard in front of the rear wheel well.

Love it - only thing I would have done is a smoked side marker lens. The lip def looked off while on the lift, but once on the ground, it's needed for the overall look.

I agree something needs to be done about the spoiler or the front lip. If Pete is happy with that lip then go oem spoiler. If he wants to run the current spoiler he needs a similarly aggressive front bumper.

I have the numeric racing shifter as well, on a 911sc in good working order. It has similar side to side play while in gear like Pete is experiencing... I think it's just that Era of box porsche was working with. Regarding Pete's dissatisfaction with the corners of the bumper, look up the 930 S front bumper. Slantnoses often had it. And it was required for a 330HP 930s power kit offered through Sonderwunsvh. Looks basically like the ruf bumper but flaring into a lip on the bottom and sides. Does fit under an impact bumper though. Finally, sell me the gt2 wing! Thanks!

Amazing work on the car. I think what would do it more justice once it's all finished is to take it to a nice outdoor location for that walk-around and close-up shot. I know the shop is convenient and has decent lighting, but I think bringing this to a cool outdoor spot would really do justice to the improvements and show it's place at home on the roads.

Pete,You might consider putting a heat shield in front of the excaust otherwise its very possible that not only will you melt that new rear bumper but it could very well catch your car on fire.

Bit late to the party but considering the carbon fiber overlay on the front lip.. When you lay out the weave so it looks genuine, center point of the front lip is where you match your weave. The carbon fiber weave is one direction @ an angle. so 2 halves, one piece you reverse / flip the weave so from the center mark, the direction of the weave flows outward to the left & to the right. When you lay down your layer of weave onto the front lip, the set @ the center should be lost invisible, the weave pattern on the left meets the one from the right perfectly as if the weve itself would turn 90 degrees... ( straight line from center front of 911 to center rear everything visually should look like it flows outward to the left or the right... ) I'm wrapping my 2005 C5 allroad's hood & roof in high gloss 6D carbon fiber & I will use two halves meeting in the center so the pattern from the center directs outward.. Otherwise the entire roof or hood wrapped with the weve pattern going in one direction looks offline... If you look @ the Guenther or any of the high end carbon fiber bodied cars, their carbon fiber meets in the center line ... Like you guys I'm in the process of multiple upgrades like installing my B6 S4 Recaros, just finished up Mercedes AMG 18x9.5 monobloc wheels, shaping hatch spoiler & lower window spoiler from PVC ( will @ some point copy this result, make some moulds & craft them up in carbon fiber. Installing period correct RNSE, fitting the front lip spoiler, installing new fog lights center lower grille, still hve not figured out how to correctly wire it up for power..... & a few other things before going to FCP-euro's VW / Audi / Porsche end of season meet @ Lime Rock Park track this next Sunday Oct 29th.... Cheers !!

sir i must thank you!! i was hella worried at first that this might be sacrificed to one of the evil pcar satan's i.e. rwb, lsswapped or some silly laid out obsence camber thing. thankfully i was way off base. an original turbo that has been blessed with some of chris's magic and you have chosen to lean toward my ONLY direction i believe this car should go if it cant stay o.e. RUF is my other god along with the creator of humanity(i'd have went full BTR). anything other than parts from the only porsche builder that porsche said "go head and take this perfect car and make it way better. you have our blessing".. this shows you car enough to honor the 930 with you taste but also understanding that there is no company in the world to do it even close to as good s RUF did it. i want to see it all together. no bigger wing please rsr 3.8 style wing is the max. you did a great though im just jacking you around but RUF is the ultimate gift to a porsche!! cheers
