I've realized that officially licensed wizarding world items just aren't as good as handmade items from small businesses. The small business owners are in my opinion way more creative with the items they make, and the items are way cuter.

I feel like these items are made by someone who watched the movies once each, around the time they released in theaters. These aren't items made by the kind of fans who are buying the box, so the items fall so flat. Every once in a while there's something really cool (because even a broken clock is right twice a day), but otherwise it's a miss for me.

I think fan made subscription boxes are waaaay better than most “official” subscription boxes. Corporations just put pictures on stuff and call it a day. Fans go into heavy detail because we have other die hard fans in mind. Candles, tea, socks, pins, book covers, etc.

The Character from the Hat is called Astro Boy. It's from an old Japanese Anime with the same name " Astro Boy" the show ran from 1952 until 1968. I think it's one of the classic Childhood Anime.

From my experience with their WWE and MLB crates, they were 6 months late shipping out each one and the items weren’t too exciting. The customer service people all seemed to give the same generic automated replies. Took about a year or so of not getting crates and talking to a few different customer service reps to finally get my money back. What a mess, definitely wouldn’t recommend. Sad to see they haven’t changed…

The Night Bus is a lunchbox. That were always made that way. They are thin so kids can carry them to school. It is a throwback to the old ones from the 1950s - 1980s. Now you usually see them in fabric with foam padding.

My personal opinion is that the pin is very cute and simple. If you want to add a bit of Harry Potter flair to your outfit or backpack then BOOM! There you go. And it's a good way to spot other Potter heads as well. I'd say that if your a more simplistic fan then the pin is great, maybe not as much for people who prefer more less simplistic pins. Again, this is just my opinion.

I remember finding your channel from the lootcrate boxes and and the first and last box I bought was the one with the hufflepuff cup pin, and glow and the dark whomping willow shirt. It was the last good box before you stopped buying them. Kinda sad to see that they haven’t improved too much since then but there are PLENTY of amazing creative boxes out there

If I were to make a Department of Magical transportation I would have included: - A travel kit in a little faux leather toiletry bag with (unbreakable) HP-styled 3-4 vials for travel shampoo, lotion etc - A replica Quibbler with glasses - A pin that spun (similar to the time turner) but with the kings cross wall on one side and 9 & 3/4s on the reverse - A portkey keyring charm or a Ford Anglia keyring - A personalised Hogwarts ticket with your name on it - A jar of “floo powder” but it’s actually bath powder (like milk powered “to transport your senses to a relaxing location or your choosing”) Just some ideas I felt could have been better choices than another scarf or a coin purse

The welcome box would’ve disappointed me so much if I received it 🙈 not into any of it, only interested in magical stuff ✨ however, the travel tag, umbrella and lunch/storage box of the subscription box are actually quite nice. I don’t like pins in general. I’d just never use them, so I don’t know why they are always put into subscription boxes. It’s always like a filler to me 🤷🏼‍♀️

They’ve been doing that “oh the tracking number will work once (insert excuse)” for years. They will mark a box as shipped and not actually send it out for MONTHS. they started doing it when they went into bankruptcy. I think it’s a way to keep people from doing chargebacks for boxes that were never shipped.

Loot crate boxes used to be my absolute favorite. I have all the horcrux pins and I have never found pins as nice as theirs used to be. The Gryffindor scarf I got like 2 years ago from their box has this beautiful leather crest on the ends and its still my favorite scarf. The book ends!!! I canceled cause my boxes were always late, the amount of items we were promised dropped with no expectation and the creativeness of the products severally started lacking. It was one of the more expensive boxes too and the value just wasn't there anymore. I collected the last horcrux pin and haven't purchased a box from them again. I watch these videos cause I do have the fear of missing out. I have yet to feel like I'm missing out and its been almost 2 years.

the night bus tin is really cute, the idea is nice . the pin isn't "cooool" or bad*ss like the horcrux ones, but it's still very cute and the colours are nice. I wonder what other places they would make. i would love to see the burrow, hagrid's hut...etc. The railway zip pouch, I would have liked it better if it had been fully like the front of the hogwarts express with the red and black...etc. or maybe even another round tin with the perfect print of the hogwarts express on it.

I used to get Lootcrate back in the day (not the HP ones just the normal gaming kind) and the quality of the items was very up and down. Even the t-shirts were not consitent in their size. I ordered size M, all said the size M but when you put them ontop of each other they were very different in size wich is a shame because some of them were so small I couldn't even wear them and others were so big they looked weird. The other things inside were hit or miss as well, which is normal, but a lot of the things that were not Figurines seemed cheap and flimsy. Loved the pins though.

I used to get the Firefly crates from Loot Crate. They had taken FIVE payments from me but I had not received any boxes. I was in constant contact and would take a week between replies. Eventually, I put in PayPal claims for all the payments, got my money back and cancelled my sub......... only to still receive the boxes 18 MONTHS later. I let them know,. got told to keep them, and haven't bought from them since.

I got one of their boxes aswell. I waited months for it to get here. They didn't ever respond to my emails or when they did they would "look into it and get back to me" When it did arrive I had forgotten about it and some youtubers were on the 2nd to 3rd box after it. I was the same as you very disappointed with the quality of the box. I have a litjoy subscription and honestly I'm glad I have that one. That one is miles ahead of others I have seen.

LootCrate did end up filing Bankruptcy and was bought by another company since then, but I happened to do the Lord of the Rings 3 box set and that was just an utter disaster really. Took forever and while quite a few nice items most where... eh? And had Customer Service issues... So I would say they haven't improved at all really but would film the next box to show that this is either an ongoing trend or if this was a box that just didn't come of well.
