Do not repel one who asks (93:10) Regarding the prophet's marriage to ayesha, some argues that she married when she was 19, but some also argues that she married at 13, but the marriage was decided when she was 9. The question about "Have you ever been stoned?" My poor brain is thinking, of course I have! I'm from Los Angeles and my mom was a hippie! Then the follow up about parents stoning, my brain goes to: "Nope, my parents would never share their weed." Sigh...my only excuse is that it's 11:30pm and I've been up since 3am. Only rocks ever thrown at me were by my 3 brothers when we were kids.

For the war. Islam has always sets war if there is no choice. And even when muslims choose war, there are strict rules and regulations to be followed. Isnt it because they have felt being the oppressed that they became more emotional? The Holy Prophet (may peace be upon him) has given clear instructions about the behaviour of the Muslim army. He observed: "Set out for Jibad in the name of Allah and for the sake of Allah. Do not lay hands on the old verging on death, on women, children and babes. Do not steal anything from the booty and collect together all that falls to your lot in the battlefield and do good, for Allah loves the virtuous and the pious." The first leader of Islam after our prophet’s death(Abu Bakr’): "Stop, O people, that I may give you ten rules for your guidance in the battlefield. Do not commit treachery or deviate from the right path. You must not mutilate dead bodies. Neither kill a child, nor a woman. nor an aged man. Bring no harm to the trees, nor burn them with fire, especially those which are fruitful. Slay not ary of the enemy's flock. save for your food. You are likely to pass by people who have devoted their lives to monast ic services; leave them alone" Muslims are clear on who our enemies are. They do not go bombing around everywhere. Isis is not islam on many basis. They do not follow our teachings. We even have strict rules against our enemies, why would we kill our own people? If people actually learned about our religion, they would notice that our religion is one of kindness and empathy The very first revelation in which the permission to wage war against the forces of evil sums up the aims and objects of qital in Islam: "Permitted'are those who are fought against, because they have been oppressed. and verily God is more Powerful for their aid. Those who have been driven from their homes unjustly only because they said: 'Our Lord is Allah,' for had it not been for 'Allah's repelling someone by means of others, cloisters and churches and mosques, wherein the name of Allah is oft-mentioned, would assuredly have been pulled down. Verily Allah helps one who helps Him. Lo! Allah is Strong. Almighty" (xxii. 39.41). They were allowed to fight because their lives were being ignored and being made difficult just because they were muslims. Some were even being abused and taken advantage of since most of the first muslims were slaves. The Quran: "And what reason have you not to fight in the way of Allah and for the oppressed among men and women and children who say: Our Lord ! take us forth from the town whereof the people are oppressors and grant us from Thee a friend and grant us from Thee a helper" (iv. 75).

I got the comment where they said that the Muslim countries stoned the citizens if they against the government. He said that he have Malaysian friends in US. Me : No. Please no. As a Malaysian myself, I can confirm that we don’t have stoning as a capital punishment. Besides, the capital punishment is similar to UK (not surprising since UK colonized us in the past), which is hanging. And I don’t like this comment bcs it seems like he generalizing all Muslim countries stoned the guilt prisoners.
