Hello Don, Just to let you know, driving on the interstate here in Maine is so different than the rest of the country. First, you pay a toll to get on the interstate. Next, we have a law for driving on the left lane, and that is you are only allowed to use the left lane for passing a vehicle. Once you passed the vehicle, you must move out of the left lane as soon as it is safe to do so. There is a sign that says, Keep Right Except To Pass. Also, in addition to speed limit signs, we also have minimum speed signs. Finally, large trucks and buses are prohibited from using the left lane.
