If the lad in the jimny is worrying about sumo clearance the 98-10 vw beetle sump is a direct swap and it shallows it as well as having a steel pan so it won’t crack 👌

I dont have any issues ext loom plugs should be pretty much waterproof

Try some dielectric grease in the plugs, but as graham has said, the plugs don’t normally cause an issue. It’s the ecu getting wet that causes issues. Sounds like you might have a crank sensor wiring issue 👌🏻

Pd refers to a series of diesel engines fitted to mainly things like the VW Golf Mk4, they came in 100,130 and 150 bhp varients. Known for being super torquey and tuneable motors
