in my experience, canceling is better. if used at the beggining of a combo it gives better damage. and also better positioning... unless the art is gonna kill, its better to cancel into a combo

RA cancel and deathfist deals more dmg. + Every ender gives more + frames than his RA so use it only if you sure it will kill or you can kill.

Hold DB after QCF and you get crouching state but it's not instant so you have to lab it.
