The piece you are calling a hair comb is actually a hair lifter , back in the 50s and 60s when you back comb your hair you would use that to lift your teased hair to the height you want and spray hair spray 😊

The comb is called a hair lift.For teasing & giving the hair volume. To maintain the look its sprayed with hair spray. My mom used those in the 70's.

9:20 mark - the sterling flower earrings with the Turquoise center. I bought a sterling silver necklace of that design - the center was actually 1/2 of a cut plastic bead. 😒 Fortunately, I was able to return given not turquoise stone as defined by seller. A definite "test" to see if actually Turquoise stone!

Those last earrings were made in Indiana in the 50s by Hillcraft. Typically not gold.

I have a beautiful and large collection of Hillcraft and Castlecraft Jewelry most in their original boxes. I think I better start testing mine, maybe some are gold. Due to bad health and age I am in the process of downsizing and am planning on selling my collection. I am not sure if I should list separate or sell as a collection. Do you know of any jewelry Face Book groups where I could offer my collection and see what happens?????
