I'm growing these this summer--you have me wandering out to the garden right now to pick the first two ripening ones. I love your approach, your wild milpa garden, thank you!

Great video Slava! I had never heard of them. I made a note to look for the seeds next year. It'd be fun to try something new. Thanks!!

I never knew there were so many varieties of eggplant! I have seen the Japanese purple thin ones and the fatter white ones but never red! This was so cool! Fascinating they look just like tomatoes

Yummy! How come you only have a small growing space and you come out with new veggies every day? lol Where do you grow all this stuff? 😉😉

Haha Well if you saw my garden, you would probably call it a jungle lol Cause I have way too many things cramped in there. But I love my beautiful chaos :)

I first thought that this is a candidate for April's Fool, but this is really a thing! It is also called Ethiopian Eggplant. Turns out there are also so-called African Eggplants (white to orange, ribbed, flattened) and Thai Eggplants, but they are different. Plus there are long thin eggplants, almost as a purple bean, but a bit thicker, whose name varies between different countries.
@KitchenGardenTherapy2 жыл бұрын
haha yes, my first thought was similar. There are so many different unique varieties, I'm on a mission to try them all
