I never knew there were so many varieties of eggplant! I have seen the Japanese purple thin ones and the fatter white ones but never red! This was so cool! Fascinating they look just like tomatoes

Haha Well if you saw my garden, you would probably call it a jungle lol Cause I have way too many things cramped in there. But I love my beautiful chaos :)

I first thought that this is a candidate for April's Fool, but this is really a thing! It is also called Ethiopian Eggplant. Turns out there are also so-called African Eggplants (white to orange, ribbed, flattened) and Thai Eggplants, but they are different. Plus there are long thin eggplants, almost as a purple bean, but a bit thicker, whose name varies between different countries.
