I use a Lazy Susan as well. Works great. I traced the circle onto some chipboard packaging I had and adhered a grip mat to it. Don't need to buy a rotating mat. I use Stamp Wheel and Wreath Builder template to make circle wreaths. I'm good with what I have.

Interesting products. The first one is too complicated to me with too many steps. I have Gina K’s stamp wheel which is easy to use. I don’t make enough wreath cards to have a specialized tool for them. The 2nd one is interesting as i have been using a lazy susan tool for years. It is on a raised platform so i can hold the “stem” of it still while working in one area. Why couldn’t you just add your grip mat to this tool? Can’t see the need for a specialized one. Thank you for sharing!

Rotating platform would suit me better if it was magnetic. I’m old school and prefer using magnets to hold down stencils as it’s much quicker than using tape when I’m making dozens at a time (to donate to personal care homes). I do have a Waffle Flower grip mat on order so will give that a try.
@bethrogers565611 ай бұрын
If you have a magnetic mat, you can lay it on the rotating self healing one and rotate the stencil while held down by magnet. Same with a glass mat.

What GREAT finds!! I REALLY like the lazy-susan! And I agree that a sticky mat would help. Perhaps the Cricut Joy mats from the Dollar Tree ($1.25 and identical!!) would be worth a try? I know you’re across the pond without access to them… I’d be happy to send you a few. I feel like with everything you share, it’s the least I could do. At that price point, every card maker should have a few on hand. They also fit perfectly in the standard Misti. TFS your finds! 😊

I think your reviews are very valuable because they're so candid and backed by so much experience. So I want to be clear that I'm not taking exception to your opinion only adding mine. I use a rotating cutting board in my quilting and they're simply wonderful. They can make coloring and cutting so much easier. But I don't get how much technology and expense goes into stamping out wreaths in the card making industry. I never do it. They're only interesting to me when they're eclectic arrangements of whatever. It doesn't seem that hard to me to lightly draw a circle in pencil and use that as a guideline. I get that you'd give up a lot of *precision* but I think precision just makes a handcrafted homemade card look like a commercial product. That's a negative in my personal opinion. I think something that's beautifully crafted but looks like what it *is* which is a say a work of love and personal expression is something to treasure. That said I hope your review acquaints people with possibilities that could be interesting and useful for them. And, as always, I really appreciate what you do.

@@justinehovey I have a question about this rotating presses accuracy compared to the Stampwheel. If I need to re re stamp an image or sentiment because it needed more ink, does everything stay in place on the rotating press or is there wiggle room since it doesn't lock in?
