Bravo, damn fine repair... if the cost wasn't too much, I'd pay for the wire tidy... I know you'll never see it, but it's one of those pride in your workmanship type things. Whoever did the mods before, was a tad bit careless.

OMG all those wires! I have a modified SMS2 with a RGB output, Pause button mod and switchless region mod. Never bothered with the FM sound module since most games were programmed with the PSG in mind

Randomly came across this video. Never had a MasterSystem, only its games for my GameGear's MasterGear converter. I know now there's a mode switch for the FM audio and USB-C power mod 👀

Yep. Games would literally plan faster when running at faster frame rate.
