I wholeheartedly applaud Brittany & Abby, living their lives to the fullest, focusing on their goals no matter what the naysayers think. I really feel that if you cannot find it in your heart to be lovingly supportive of these fine young women then you obviously need to take stock of how you would like to be treated. There are so many people who could benefit from observing their ambitions, resilience, tenacity, & a strong desire to succeed! Truthfully, they give me courage to keep pressing forward despite all obstacles. Kudos to them for believing in themselves & inspiring others like me to keep a positive mindset! I remember first seeing these determined young ladies on Oprah in the mid 90's. I was amazed back then to see how happy and inspiring these two were back then. Now look at them they accomplished so much! They have traveled, earned their drivers license and even their college degree as well. And finally they are living their best lives as teachers and they are married now to a wonderful gentleman. I always remembered their birthday bc that's my birthday too! 🥰

I simply don't see how one salary is okay, but two licenses and two degrees are mandatory. Absolutely unacceptable. Would they pay a person with one arm half salary? You perform where they normally might only hire one person, but in some classrooms there are assistants or co-instructors. They hired two people who happen to share a pair of trousers. Still...two people.

If one passes, they both pass. There is no separation that could save one of them. Had they had two complete or mostly complete bodies that only shared organs could be separated. My guess would be their heart will give out from the stress of two heads to supply blood to. In their case they will both pass together. Chang and Eng could have saved one once the brother passed. But because of the era they were born in, they didn't know they could have separated them well before death. So hours after one went, the toxic blood poisoned his brother. They could have saved the other if they had removed the one who passed. I could not imagine knowing my twin was gone and I will too. But not knowing how long they have after half of them is gone.

This is the saddest most horrible situation of conjoined twins. They could not be separated because of shared organs. But in Ireland they had the same situation and the parents decided to remove one head off the body. Today the remaining girl is growing nicely as a single healthy individual.

I love these two girls. I’ve watched them grow up on TV and I’m so glad that they chose to be public with their lives. Maybe some ppl will learn from this and see that no matter who you are, or what you look like ect.. everyone should be excepted as equal because we were all created equal. I don’t agree with them getting only one salary for the both of them. Both of them have to have a ID both have degrees and they both had to get a drivers license so therefore they should get two salaries. One for each of them. He was going through the list of their anomalies. He neglected to mention that one controls the left arm/leg, and the other controls the right arm/leg. I would imagine that came about as a natural byproduct of their conjunction. They had that figured out before they were born. JMHO.
