Hey man! Great video. I started learning with my son, and I've learned that sign language also helps at work when working with loud machines

Your son will think it's cool when the two of you sign back and forth and it will be this private conversation between the two of you!

I've been wondering about the word "of" while learning to sign the song, "King Of Kings". Have seen four different ways to sign the line, "King of kings." 1) "King" (K had shape, shoulder to hip), then repeated (the word "of" is just dropped). 2) "King", then the word "of" is finger spelled, then "king" is signed again. 3) "King", then a sign that is new to me --- each hand is in a fist with thumbs extended up, the non-dominant hand stays still while the dominant hand is raised above it. 4) Ditto to #3, then "king" is signed again. Too many ways to sign the same thing and it's confusing. Can you add any insight to help me understand?

Yep...option 3...the sign is for "pre-eminent". I assume the dominant hand is raised and then rests upon the thumb of the non dominant hand. Think of a group of people with one individual as the leader or in the lead. Helpful?

@@signlanguagepractice Yes, very helpful, and it makes perfect sense given the context. Thank you for taking the time to reply and for helping me learn.

I watched your video. Your sign language is great. It reminds me of my mother, who used to be an interpreter. How can I reach you by email or IG? I am deaf/severe hearing loss. I know sign language.

Curious as to the question. Many of these are not used in ASL.
