Lighter colors are better if you don't have a garage to reflect heat and sunlight. I recently put my hands on brand new white and black accords side by side in the sun and wow the difference.

Agreed. I am waiting for this car to replace my 2006 Civic, and I am disappointed that the only two light colors available are silver and white. My current car is silver, my previous car was white. I was kind of hoping for something different, but still light. Maybe light blue or the light "gold" color they have on Accord. No luck, I guess I'd have to choose between silver and white.

@@HondaProJason im living in SL , if im going out of colombo to really far hill sides its gonna be a problem … i had a prius 2016 few years back it was a disaster , but this new insight got better ground clearance than the prius though , love ur channel jason , love ❤️ from Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 btw the new civic hatchback and sedan the new accord , the cr-v the s660 are really popular here , people are waiting for the newly designed civic but gonna take a while for us since theres a temporary import ban happening now

Thank you for showing all of the color options. The Lunar Silver is hard to get; there are like 8 in 3 states. I am so torn between the Aegean Blue, Lunar Silver, and whatever they call the dark grey. I am going for the Touring... that moon roof gets me every time... also love the navigation system and wifi hotspot.

I've got the black Insight EX and love the color but with all black cars it takes a lot of work to keep it clean but it's worth it. I'm getting 53.5 mpg combined city/highway and if I drive on Tennessee's state highways I've gotten 69.3 mpg on short 82 mile round trips on country roads driving 55 - 60 mph. The only complaint I have is the engine is only 1.5L and it works hard to maintain the speed limit going up mountainous roads and the droning is loud too. Overall I'm still very happy after almost 1 year of driving. If I had to do it all over again I would have gotten the Touring for the extra features but I got my EX at such a good price because it was a year end close out and I saved $2000.00 over a white 2020 EX (I don't like white cars).

TFLnow reporting just 48 MPG for Insight Touring. Accord Hybrid is rated 47 MPG and has more power and features. It seems that looks is the only advantage the Insight has over its stable mate. (And that’s slim. Accord is pretty good looking to me in Radiant Red to hide it’s terrible tail lights)

This car is much more like Civic than Accord. Almost certain Insigt's front seats will be Civic size, not Accord, and believe me, the Accord's seats are a little bigger and more generous support.

The exterior looks way better than the 2018 Accord for sure. Much much better tail lights and the ugly chrome on the front grill from the Accord was cut in half. I think the interior of the 2018 Accord looks nicer, BUT I like the touch panel display placement much better on the Insight. Overall, if you aren't worried about hybrid pricing and less hp, then the Insight looks to be the better buy.

Everything about this car is perfect except I wish it had the same power and torque output figures as the Accord hybrid. This looks so much better than the Accord but HP and torque are a bit lower than I'd like. Edit: I also wish it didn't have the Accord's funky half digital instrument cluster. For some reason it's digital speedo only does km/h. I wouldn't mind the half digital cluster if they would just let me see the digital speedo in mph...

phil chao oh it's not that, it's just that I didn't think they had made a second version of the power train at all. They haven't exactly been open about any details of this car. We barely know the torque and power ratings of any piece of hybrid power trains nowadays, consumers don't understand them..

Slevin Gaius this is true for some early hybrids and all plug in hybrids. However, with the way honda, Hyundai, Kia and Toyota have designed their current models, there is a space left for the tire. Honda and Hyundai don't offer to have a tire, while Toyota has one standard, and Kia has one on their highest trim..

That's what I was worried about. Test drove it and was surprised; and I've owned a Civic and V6 Accord, so can speak from experience. This car gets up! I leave cars (and trucks) in the dust all the time on the highway. Hell I take the highway just to open it up and feel like a boss lmao. You press the gas, it just goes. NO LAG. You'd be surprised...
