"Oh, it says 'Distribute 6 initial points'" and then proceeds to distribute 9 points. I love Mr. T! The character creator is amazing. The fact that you edit everything, you can add something by name and it automatically finds the rules to complete the details, you can export as PDF and for Foundry. All of it because MCG embraces the work made by the community to take it even further.

I feel that Old Gods of Appalachia needs to be added to this since it is not classic horror or fairy tale and just nothing from this generator fits. WIth the Kickstarter live, i really hope that this setting will get some love.

It would be great to have options for Numenera too. But I must say I am totally impressed by what they have done here!!!

The only limitation of the CS character creator, currently, is that it only lets you use official MCG character options. It doesn't yet have an option to make a character with custom homebrew options. Custom Descriptors, Types, Flavors, Foci, and Abilities, like what the core rule book shows you how to make, are not options that you can add to your account or publish for other people to try. But you never know what the future holds...

@@MrTarrasqueI imagine that it works for an individual person who’s willing to put in the effort, but it doesn’t let them share the love quite as easily or accessibly. Imagine a community of home brewers, like a community of modders, where other people have access to your imagination too. Just a thought though. What’s there already is intuitive and easy to work with. Makes the Cypher System more accessible to people who are new to it, so it’s really good for what it is.

OMG why are there not PREGEN characters of EVERY Subclass (not just the SRD subclasses) - one version per tier - in EDITABLE format so you can switch out a FEAT if you wanted to. It's stupid they don't have FLEXIBLE PREGENS for the players. Also, they should have a sample spell list with tiny spell summaries. You wanna know what limits the size of D&D? It's THIS!

While the character creator is a good utility, I find that my design creativity works best by flipping pages in the book. I am of course quite weird.
