@Osnosis I've actually been pretty fortunate in that respect. I have 3 cats at the moment & my 10 year old male ginger is the only one with any kind of destructive behavior. He refuses to use any of the many scratch posts & pads I have all over the house. I've even treated them with catnip to try to entice him into using them. He prefers my carpet! He's wrecked my one set of stairs & is literally digging holes in a few spots! I've tried covering those spots with those flat cardboard scratch pads, thinking he might get the idea. But, nope! The other 2 use all of the posts & pads. It's crazy!

It's good to use improvised items to entertain cats. You can spend money thinking the cat will love a toy, but the cat has its own plans. Boxes & paper bags are good. Love the video. Love my pets

Great idea! I don't know who would love this the most.... the dogs or the cats. Also, you could marinate the toilet paper tubes in the catnip bin for a couple of days, remove them, shaking off all the excess catnip, and use those. The cats would find them irresistible.

My cats loved the old milk rings that used to peel off the jugs. My one cat’s absolute favorite toy was the trimmed end of a bright blue, gel shoe insert. She’d get sooo depressed when she’d bat it under the couch.

Cats LOVE the caps from milk jugs .. and those tiny xmas trees I also leave a strip of brown paper wrap on the floor, a couple paper bags and two cardboard boxes ..and they have full run of my 1450sf home with hardwood floors throughout 🤣 .. it's a little crazy here

I made toilet paper roll toys for Christmas and none of my three cats played with them. They had catnip, bells, fur and feathers attached. What they loved best are corkscrew craft pipe cleaners, which can be easily flipped into the air and carried around in their mouths.

I also suffer with finding ways to keep my cats entertained, so these videos really do help with coming up with ideas 😁 I do find lost toys that they haven’t played with for awhile, and they think it’s new because it’s been awhile that they’ve played with it, which also helps
