@@lovexoxo251 that in and of itself is a bold face lie. EVERY women I've personally heard say that they'd be cool with the truth and EVERY women I've heard say that in these forums get caught in the lie later in the conversation when presented with a scenario. See, my life has been the opposite. I've always been ahead of my age and loved nerds but they get terrified too quickly. They also think a girl like me wouldn't date them no matter how inviting I try to make things. I'm 27 now and I'm attracted to 40-50 year old men that look presentable with that sexy salt and pepper hair, have depth, intellect, and spiritual/ emotional intelligence. Maturity has always been something I like.
@7EmpathicBeauty4 жыл бұрын
@The Truth Of maturity? Lol I guess. I've even had an older nice looking doctor lock me in the patient room and said, "I'm not supposed to be doing this" and we talked for about an hour. I could keep up with his conversation since I'm a Biology major. He was into me hard and love looking in my eyes buuuut, he let me leave without asking for my number. I was about 24 then. I'm old fashioned on a lot and can sense when a guy likes me but for some reason, yall be too scared to approach. It's like an intimidating thing even with "bad" boys. They all have a respect for me though. Maybe because I'm marriage material and they don't want to hurt me? Lol idk. I do know a guy said guys can pick up on which girls are easy but the same guy won't try games with me lol. I just don't get it. It isn't the friend zone they put me in tho...
@7EmpathicBeauty4 жыл бұрын
@The Truth What pattern is that? And what am I or other females late for? I'm just curious. On the other hand, I let guys know that I don't mind being friends if that is what they choose but they don't give a clear answer. Now that I'm talking about it, it makes me think men only want hit it and I don't allow that. They don't get mad tho and want to remain in my life lol...so please elaborate
@7EmpathicBeauty4 жыл бұрын
@The Truth Trust me, I do follow my own path when making these decisions. I try to ask men for advice but they usually like me so they don't want to reveal anything. This talk was very insightful and I am greatful for your answers. I have 1 man that I adore and he does me but he claims "busy" or "I have a daughter now". While I understand that, does living his purpose mean he can't hang out every now and then or he can't text me every now and then to see how I'm doing? When I have a problem with "us" he listens and says my feelings are valid but he doesn't go into depth in why he agrees. I don't want to pry b/c it may be something that will bruise his ego if he reveals it to me. He usually is blunt and tells me the truth but the part about hiding something bothers me so I ask him to please just say he doesn't want me or like me like that and we can move on but he says, "I can't say that b/c it wouldn't be true". He stays calm with me and tells me all the time how valuable I am to him but he won't hang out or whatever. So, I know men are different but, does he sound sketchy to you or should I be gullible and believe him? In other words is the saying " if a man really likes you, he will go after you" a true statement? It's a tricky situation.
@7EmpathicBeauty4 жыл бұрын
@The Truth Wow, being the type of woman that I am, I have no problem with that. I respect that a lot actually lol. I'll keep this in mind and trust what he says since he gave me no reason to not trust him. Thanks again! 🙂

My first issue with this show is that it was suppose to be a show about "Have Your Standards in Men Changed As You've Gotten Older" - They were suppose to discuss the complexities of dating as a more mature woman. First of all, most of the guest did not come off as mature women and they did not speak in a way as such. I don't know mature women who want a street dude as long as he is not a gangster, who will date/marry a man with a prison record as long as he didn't shoot nobody in the head, or a woman who willing sleeps with a married man. Fox Soul had the wrong type of guest on here for this conversation, next time find women who actually are mature and have standards.

@Good Life I did mean married. Why would i not mean that? I've been listening to her talk for over a decade about marriage and kids... and when it came to men, it was all about of shallow "qualifications" that she needed, but it was never about what she offered. Analogy: It was like looking for a job. She wanted a high salary, creative input, corner office, best parking spot, 8 weeks vacation, health insurance, retirement plan, and a company car. In return, she was a high school drop out. Now that her eggs are dried up.... now she want to talk about "Standards" and do then change. Nah, talk about the actual subject in the realest terms possibly. Do dumb broads "dumb" themselves out of potential happiness?

Real relationships are really hard to find. There's no formula to having a successfully fulfilling relationship. Here's what no none is saying...time is the gold standard for quantifying growth and goodness in a person. Time, however doesn't or should I say shouldn't be how anyone determines benchmarks for their relationship i.e. monogamy, meeting of each others family, or marriage. You get the point. Time is only relevant when it comes to what value do you put on the person you're investing in. If you enjoy their time and it feels reciprocal, that alone is priceless. A very small percentage of relationships are truly marked "successful" regardless of how subjective that reality is. In my opinion, success in anything is should be measured by the rate of your return and the amount of time you continue to give to any situation, including personal, intimate relationships. View it from an investment perspective...once an investment is no longing yielding solid returns it would be wise to sell and reinvest into something or someone else. But if that investment maturation doubles in value, then you double down. Brought to by CP.
