Wasnt aware Zodiac offered chronographs. This looks really nice to me. Never owned a Zodiac will owe them another look.

I purchased this watch at the WindUp watch show in Chicago this past summer. Fantastic watch, I chose the blue very classic. Very well made and wonderful addition to my collection.

Man I seriously hope Zodiac makes a version of this new chronograph in titanium - limited edition or not I'd be all over that. Size isn't a problem for me, but the heft of steel just doesn't agree with me despite all the times I've tried over the past decade. Beautiful work, thanks for the upload!

Glad you liked the video Sir a titanium model would be great thats for sure Finger crossed

Many thanks Barry for yet another excellent video. It's a good looking watch too. Love the lumed up bezel although at 16mm+ it's a bit too chunky looking for my tastes personally. Mind you at just about two and a half grand in today's climate I guess that represents something of a minor bargain. I have concerns about the sizing up of the bracelet though as from what I could see it looked to be some sort of pin affair. ( if it is does use screws then I of course stand corrected). I had a quick look over at Frances Gayes site and was pleasantly surprised at the eclectic nature of the watches they have for sale over there. With watches from small concerns such as Fears, Bremont, Doxa etc they truly have got something for pretty much all tastes. I notice Sinn still represent excellent value along with of course Longines, Oris and even Junghans.. Full marks to whoever sources their stock I say as its a watch collectors Alladins Cave over there. On that note I'll sling my hook... Good luck with your progression through your watchmaking course. Toodle Pip lol.

Nice video. Don't think you mentioned if the bracelet is screwed or pin and collar. And I believe that butterfly clasp has springs which offer a small amount of automatic micro adjustment, or at lease a snug fit for those that prefer it.
@ClickSpringReview Жыл бұрын
I believe its a pin and collar system Brian and yeah your right the clasp has 5 levels of micro adjustment to it Sir

I like it. Doesn’t look anything like as thick as the specs would suggest. Lume looks really bright. Any idea how long lasting it is? Love the Larco strap. 👍🏻

Looks great! I just miss the 3 and 9 o’clock markers, I don’t understand why they are missing. Other than that, fantastic timepiece! Do you know if you can actuate the pushers underwater?
@ClickSpringReview Жыл бұрын
They couldn't fit them because of the sub dials Nathan , when it comes to the pushers no you shouldn't use them anywhere near water or even if the watch is wet , The only watch I know you can do so is any Sinn fitted with their D3 system
@nathanwabre Жыл бұрын
@@ClickSpringReview it’s more because of the tachymeter scale that the markers are missing I think. Imho with a divers chronograph you should be able to use the chronograph underwater. It could be argued that it’s too much to ask at this price point though. Indeed Sinn has the D3 system which allows this. Most Seamaster chronographs can also be used underwater. Aquastar pioneered the idea and their revival Deepstar can also be used underwater. To me screw down pushers should be present if you are supposed to play with the pushers underwater. 🤷♂️
@ClickSpringReview Жыл бұрын
I see where your coming from Nathan with the tachymeter but the markers are cut out design with the lume is below making it a sandwich dial Being the subdials are already lower than the dial itself you can't do this without increasing the thickness of the watch plus the circumstance of the markers would place it within the subdial anyway . I did agree screw down pushers would be better but I think they're not as aesthetically pleasing as a standard one, plus they cost more to manufacture and so would increase the RRP. PS you are right about the Seamaster 👍🏻

I like this one, but the reverse panda is truly a peach. It reminds me of Zenith chrono divers from the 60s.

Yeah I see were your coming from there , I enjoyed this one it just has something about it. I can imagine there maybe a deal to be had with it when it comes to buying one to

Could this work on about a 6.25 in wrist? It looks amazing and I’ve always wanted a mechanical chronograph
@ClickSpringReview8 ай бұрын
Hi Sir I fear it may to big due to the lug to lug size of 50mm but it could be worth checking out the Sinn 356 or 103 even if you like something with a vintage feel Lebois and Co. Certina DS Chronograph Automatic 1968 would work also

@@ClickSpringReview Thank you so much for the response and recommendations! Those look great as well I was also considering a Hamilton intramatic no date wears smaller. Wish these were smaller thank you for the great review! Could you review the new zodiac gmt? those look great but bit pricey

Zodiac had quite a lot QC issues in the past few years. (Fossil did not seem to take production side of Zodiac seriously, only the marketing). I would not spend any hard earned money on this brand.
