I like the watch. I find it unique in a sense that its not a copy of anything out there, its very repairavle. At £500 i’d even consider one, but it rn there are better watches at this pricepoint.

Hi Barry, this is certainly an interesting watch. I note what you say about the longevity of DLC coatings, and feel that B&M missed a trick by not offering a ceramic case. That would have added another dimension to its USP and avoided the wear issue. Although this watch has many excellent qualities I'd rather have a 856, frankly. LG Bob 🍾 🥂

If they made a V2, shaved 2mm off the bezel and 1.5-2.5mm off the case. Make it non LE and charge say £400-£500 it would sell well I think if marketed right. I don't mind the movement choice but that thickness looks like it wears top heavy with those retro dimensions. For me its firstly thickness is the deal breaker compared to original watch.
@ClickSpringReview18 сағат бұрын
I'm sure they could reduce the thickness of this one as for the price I'm pretty sure they would let this one go for £600 or less

Could you please tell me how the anti-magnetic properties of this watch compare to those of an Omega watch?
@ClickSpringReview19 сағат бұрын
I cant say for sure but the balances spring does have two cores of silicon, I find with most models which say they have high levels of anti-magnetic properties unless unless the movement is completely surrounded in a iron core like the milgauss they still seem to pickup some magnetism as the rest of the movement is made of steel. The best thing to get is a demagnetiser they are very cheap and easy to use and every watch collector should have have, that way you never have to worry
@greenerick19 сағат бұрын
Regarding your comment about inexpensive magnetizers, I concur. I tested my Damasko DK32 by applying a magnet, causing it to demagnetize; however, after using a magnetizer, its operation returned to normal. I performed the same test on an Omega movement, and it continued to function. Indeed, a magnet test can be a useful way to assess the quality of an Omega watch.

Hi Barry, my first impressions of this are that it's a really attractive piece. I do wonder about the wisdom of their branding though: there are several companies called "Timeless" both in new retail and vintage watch markets. They might have a copyright issue to deal with. In common with other viewers I find the website appalling. There is no company information and no detail regarding manufacturing processes. Compare this with the Laco, Muhle-Glashutte and Sinn sites which offer a lot more information. My conclusion is that the product looks good and has potential, but the "company" (whoever they are) does have some serious issues to deal with. End of rant! Happy New Year Barry, Mrs Barry and fellow subscribers. I'm looking forward to more excellent reviews and good news regarding your degree results Barry. It's a big year for you. VG Bob 🍾🍾🍾🥂🥂🥂

I'm intrigued and really impressed by the original design, and as a potential customer I have so many questions: why is it called HMS? Why is their website so bad - they don't explain the differences between the versions, they don't give details of the watches at all. Why is the date hole in a larger date hole? It makes no sense. I thought it was a moon-phase for a moment. There is also no transparency in the volume of watches in the LEs: is it per colour, per model?
@ClickSpringReviewКүн бұрын
Hi, HMS stands for Hours Minutes Seconds as for the Le numbers its per colour, The date window makes more sense on the other models as its in two colour not just black. The options it is only dial colours apart from the DLC model so they are pretty straight forward, The cheapest model only comes on a pin and buckle, Turns out the next model will have a Big Moon Phase Complication 👍🏻

Nomos for me. I have had the OP 39 and it was a lower quality watch overall than the Nomos, except for the bracelet.
@ClickSpringReviewКүн бұрын
Really interesting being a watchmaker I see it the other way round Scotty
@scotty2hotty159Күн бұрын
@ClickSpringReview, that's odd. Nomos will ship their parts to any watchmaker. Therefore, they are more easily serviced than Rolex. When my Rolex needs a service it costs 3 times what my Nomos costs. My nomos have had less problems than my Rolexs and they keep just as good time. Additionally Nomos calibers are much much thinner. Even Rolexs new Dress 1908 movements are considerably thicker than Nomos calibers. A very famous watchmaker, Mr Dufour rates them highly, and recommended them ahead of Rolex. Nomos is also a much younger brand than Rolex. When Rolex was at the same age as Nomos is, they were not making their own movements. Rolex are good, but they are overhyped and over priced. Even Nomos entry level movements are more competently finished than Rolex, with less tooling marks.
