The only reason havel lost is because after a certain amount of damage he stops attacking until he uses the petrification magic, but the gundir champion is too fast and won't let him. If he didn't try to use magic and kept attacking and dodging, he would win all rounds.

This boss is still quite easy tho in reality, at least to me, some people think this boss is really hard. Dancer also wasnt really a difficult fight to me, beat him in a couple of tries. Pontiff and the Dlcs were the real tough battles for me. And Im not even done yet, I have yet to fight gael and am fighting sister friede and father ariandel rn, and its quite and abysmal boss fight tbh. If gael is harder, oh and also midir, then I definitely have my hands full. Btw Sister friede is one kf the best looking female characters in the game, next to firekeeper imo, imhipefully shes not ugly under her clothes, cuz she wears that dress type thing and only really shows her face, and by ugly I mean like a Mileena type thing where shes not normal. Also you can see her boobs so that gives me hope she's normal but again you never know, especially since this is dark souls, but something tells me she just looks regular.

So, considering that, he might be at a starter level, except his starter level is probably is Way too higher than players default level. Maybe around like 25 or 30, or maybe even 50, you name it.

The only time Havel won was because he rolled more in that round, he dodge some of gundyr's combos and Havel has more base damage, so if he don't get staggered (AKA if poise worked as it should) he can win.
