HAVELSAN unveiled its latest innovation, the ÇAKA S-KUSV (Submersible Kamikaze Unmanned Surface Vehicle), at IDEF 2023.

The ÇAKA S-KUSV is a new breed of naval technology, designed to redefine the rules of engagement in naval warfare.
The ÇAKA S-KUSV, a product of HAVELSAN’s engineering excellence, is a multi-dimensional platform capable of operating both on the surface and underwater. Its unique design allows for stealthy, powerful strikes against surface targets, enhancing naval capabilities in Anti-Access & Area Denial (A2AD) missions.
The ÇAKA S-KUSV is equipped with high-explosive payloads, ensuring a powerful impact on its targets. Its ability to operate underwater adds an element of surprise, allowing it to catch adversaries off-guard and deliver superior strikes.

t can stand for 40-48 hours under water it has very low aquistic sign so that highly problem to detect by sonars of target ships it can travel under water so that almost impossible to detect by EO/IR units or radars of ships it can travel very long miles by comparing to torpedos when it gets matured it is going to be a game changer for naval purposes.

I am proud as a Turkish person and I have been following this project since the beginning. my expectation is not a kamikaze drone, it's too advanced for this job, it's too expensive, it shouldn't self-destruct! It should go exactly at the water level, when the defensive shot comes from the target, missiles, ballistics, lasers, bullets, etc. should dive under the water and come out again. not like a dolphin, but like a bouncing stone. And most importantly, it should have a few torpedoes to fire when it approaches. At the end of the mission, she must return to his base to refuel and refuel with her target, not to the bottom of the sea. 🇹🇷

unmanned maritime surface drones could do with a 1.2 ton high explosive warhead . . . that translates to the UMSVs total displacement of 11.0 ton - 13.0 ton . . . UMSVs needs to have some mass that can exert a significant collision type impact on the target, in addition to the exploding warheads . . .

The problem is that all of these smart explosive vehicles are so expensive we can't afford to use them in large numbers. We need to find a more cost effective way to wage war especially in the Navy, the exclusive use of missiles is just to expensive, we must find a way to make guns viable in naval combat again.

@@oghuzkhan5117 I was not referring to just this weapon and no the military can't just afford them, the US Navy already said that the new LRASM anti-ship missile that is replacing the Harpoon will not be deployed on every ship currently using harpoons and will only be deployed in limited numbers because they are so expensive. Look at the littoral combat ships, they were made to keep costs down but the ships were under-armed and had a number of mechanical problems but we have to keep using them because of cost so now we are bolting extra weapons on them and running them at slower speeds hoping for the best. The costs of all the new technologies are keeping us and many other countries from maintaining the same numbers and levels of military readiness. It effects us the worst because we have the largest force to maintain.

These types of vehicles are not intended as regular use. They are intended to eliminate high priority expensive enemy vehicles such as cruisers or aircraft carriers which are exponentially more expensive.

Very stealthy...the vessel that carries and deploys it, not so much. Exploit that element as you will... And yes, the newest generation of mini / micro torpedoes are anticipating this type of weapons platform.

Its design looks too sophisticated for a disposable vehicle. This means it would be too expensive, and its mission is still well covered by different types of torpedoes and missile carried torpedoes. At least they can try develop a reusable vehicle which can carry let's say two torpedoes.

Зачем подводному дрону схема тримаран и разные движители под различные моторы ? Масса ненужных деталей и спорный корпус . Момент крутящий от дизеля и электричества сложно передавать на один вал ? Зачем три привода и их ненужная масса ? И вихри с индуктивностью от этого турецкого каламбура бессмысленного .
