I have a few different niches that I can do, can I put them all together as one author or should I create a few different "authors" (but still all me) for different niches (I have kid stuff and journals and mind games like Sudoku and such)

For the sake of branding, I’d definitely recommend using different author names for your different niches! For example, you could use the name “Brainy Publishing” for all your brain-game books. :) Just an idea. Hope that helps!

I’ll be honest here-I actually tried blogging for about a year, and it is HARD. Some people are able to do an excellent job at it, but it just never took off for me. I personally love KDP so much more. :) OR, start a KZbin channel!

Hey, Damian! Great question! In my opinion, the launch doesn’t do a TON, since you never really know when it could take off! One of my composition books got the “hot new release” banner, but now that back-to-school season has passed, it doesn’t make much difference now despite the fact that the launch went well. Just my two cents. :)

The description is actually only for Google and doesn’t play any part in ranking on Amazon. Your title, subtitle, and keywords will be where you’ll need to put the bulk of them. However, if you’re still not seeing your books ranking for those keywords, you might be going after ones that have too high of a competition.
