Haven - Your Dying Day

Haven was a Christian progressive metal band from New Jersey during the late 1980s until 1993. Haven drew its influences from bands such as, Queensrÿche, Metallica, King Diamond, and Dream Theater. Haven split shortly after the completion of the "Age of Darkness" release.

Haven was yet another Christian band w/huge talent and great music that recieved no support from their label and didnt make it when they really should of been big. People were too busy buying crap "Stryper" records and this band was totally overlooked by most of the christian music scene in the 90's. Kevin Ayers has some of the most haunting vocals I have have ever heard still to this day! If you like this album you should check out "Age of Darkness" it was awesome too.

I never though that "Stryper " was a Christian band. It seemed at the time( late 80's early 90's). I did not like the one LP with a shirtless picture on it. I was not even a Christian yet! Well Haven fans Rock on!
