@barbarapeller5 жыл бұрын
Caleen Sullivan, you are going to have to shampoo and retwist you hair more often but to help, I would tie my hair down every night before bed and use a bonnet on top as well to keep your hair in place so it doesn't frizz as much.. But you may have to shampoo and retwist your hair every few days to keep them neat because you work out and sweat in the head. Also, make sure your hair is well moisturized and sealed with some kind of oil, I hope this help.

@user-zx5xw4yw2e5 жыл бұрын
Moisture n seal
@Nikki3times5 жыл бұрын
I use little grease to seal... if not you may need to spray them with leave in conditioner a hour before you take them out
@barbarapeller5 жыл бұрын
Rea, you need to keep your twists well moisturized while in the twists. I stopped doing the mini twists because I noticed they are easily to mat and tangle. I mist my hair every single day with Aleo Vera juice, half and half with water, on wash days to detangle. I mist my hair with it well first with very warm water, I then use a conditioner with a lot of slip (I use the VO5 silk milk from the dollar store) finger detangled first then use my wide tooth comb, (some people do not use a comb at all and that is ok if you think your hair doesn't need it) I have 4c hair and need to finger detangle and comb, most of the time I use the wide tooth then come back with my three roll comb and it does a great job of finishing detangling. It is a lot of work but in the end, less breakage and easlier to detangle. After two weeks I take my twists down and start all over and I only have about a quarter size amount of shedded hair, I hope this help.

I have very fine and thin natural hair. I am in 4 type hair group but in the natural community world there isn't a lot of videos that represent how my hair is. Unfortunately the African Pride 2 in 1 Shampoo and conditioner does not agree with my hair. I do not know what ingredient(s) aren't agreeing with my hair. The only way I can describe my experience is like it fried my hair. It was so strong similar to that of a relaxer. When I washed my hair it wad coming out it clumps 😳😳😔😔. It also changed my hair texture. Just unfortunate it has not worked for me. But what may work for one may not always work for the other. I just need to stick to Auntie Jackie hair products. If a product is working for you sometimes best to stick to it. All the best everyone. Just my experience 🤷♀️
