As a kid we spent all our vacations in the Bahamas. This was back in the early 80s. It was amazing everywhere we went. Our boat was a Morgan 46. Sailing is the only way!!!

Spot on! You just can't capture the sheer beauty of Eleuthera unless you visit in person. And, there are so many unbelievable deserted beaches. ⛵

so funny to see a new video from you this morning, we were down in Pensacola this weekend for a ball tournament, walked several docks hoping I might run up on Plaintiff's Rest but at least I did get to see several boats.. :)

Oh, crazy! One of the very few weekends we were both out of town this weekend (on separate trips). I went to see my family up in Alabama and Phillip went to a CLE. Sorry we missed you. Some other time. Cheers!

...Hey there .... gotta say well done on cresting the 20,000 mark ..... love your videos and your energy Annie, have to laugh thinking of you having to sit still through court proceedings ... do I remember correctly that you are an attorney ..... have fun be safe, save our oceans .....

Hey back! Thank you. I believe it was the 10,000 mark you’re congratulating me on, and I’ll certainly take. I enjoyed every single mile. Even the tough ones. Yes, I am an attorney. I don’t miss the office, I will say that. But, I still do consulting work for some firms so I find myself back in my spiffed-up suit in an office or courtroom at times for the occasion, but it’s at my own pace and on my schedule. Thank you for the kind words and following along.

.... congratulations, 10,000 miles is definitely an accomplishment ..... what I'd noticed was the 20,000 subscribers to your channel .... like how your attorney consulting is at your pace and schedule..... smilin .... have fun be safe, save our oceans .....

Ahhh, thank you. I wasn’t sure which mark you were referring to. I’m proud fo them all. And, yes, mostly proud I’ve been able to build a remote career that allows all of these fun, challenging milestones. Thanks Peter.

Great video. Try splittig your lobster first before cooking and pull them from the shell except the very end into the tail and then cook and they will fall out. I like to wrap the exposed meat with foil if grilling so that part doesn't over cook. I put some butter on the meat so it keeps it moist on the bottom against the shell. Enjoy.

Ahhh ... such great advice. Thank you John! We’re (well, Phillip, actually) is a really awesome chef, so I know he’ll appreciate that. I can cut vegetables and keep wine glasses full with the best of them!

Annie and Phillip, where do you store your dinghy when underway? I don't see it on davits or trailing behind you.

sorry to be a pain but did you say you had 150 plus 20 ft of rode out? Is that like 11:1 scope? That beach looked amazing by the way!
@HaveWindWillTravelcom6 жыл бұрын
Hey Tony. Goodness me, so sorry for not answering here so many, many moons ago. I swear I feel I have too many platforms sometimes. Please feel free to email me anytime you have a burning question. I said “100 feet” then when we hook and play out the Mantus, it would equate to roughly 125 feet (a pretty common drop for us). In about 12-15 feet of water, that’s close to an 8:1 scope ratio for us (also very common). Hope that helps!

No apologies needed please. I am very familiar with how much work you put into all this stuff. I have been following ever since you wrote your first book. This one just caught me off because I heard 150 ft plus 20 for the snubber. Keep um coming Annie!
