Those decanters with the flapper girls were made in Japan about 1960. The quotes were all based on 1920s slang and songs, but a few of them were laughable attempts by non-English speakers to approximate

Yes l was saying to myself the same thing, it's a toast holder. One thing you can do some times is watch old movies, and l mean from the 1930's or so to see how the objects are used. I just love to see all the antiques in their era.. 🍞🍞🍞🍞🍞🍞🍞🍞🍞🍞🍞🍞🍞🍞

Oooooh lord, the side racoon!!! Hehe! My cat and small dog always lay across the back of my sofa to sleep. At auction on Sunday there was an old bear head rug that I looked at and even petted. Monday night I dreamt as I walked thru my living room, there was a FULL SIZE BROWN BEAR laying on the back of the sofa!! He even lifted his head and looked right at me! I said, "Awwww...all the animals just love the back of that dang thing!" as I continued walking on by.

At the beginning of the video you wondered about a piece you thought said “Yes SIB, that’s my baby - it’s actually supposed to be “Yes SIR that’s my baby”, which is a song that was very popular beginning in the 1920s. The “Marvin the Martian” cookie jar is mislabeled - it’s either Pluto or Goofy. Just my opinion - when a dealer fills their space with all obvious reproductions, they should have to post a sign in the booth clearly stating that the goods are reproductions and are neither vintage nor antique. Price tags should state “reproduction” as well.
