I had a couple MK Vs about 8 years ago. Did the same thing and it was a blast - the car was not harmed in the slightest.

That DOES look fun! Seeing that giant Lincoln spin was awesome.

You know these kind of shenanigans probably cause less stress on a drivetrain than regular driving does.
@janosleng7315 жыл бұрын
I remember doing such shenanigans in the high school parking lot with my 77 town car in the winter of 1989. All my buddies called me "Donut King". LOL thanks for the memories!

@MikeGuy99313 жыл бұрын
These classic cars were built to last, if he wants to have a little fun in the snow its not going to hurt the car. It's better doing this than sitting and never getting driven.

Those were great cars. Looks fun.

Aleast he driving this classic baby like some some people that just let them set. Cars are meant to be driven.

I love it when people have the balls to put their RWD cars to the floor instead of babying them for their entire lives. Besides with the looks of how easily and lazily it swung around you probably didn't even bother the suspension.

It's nice to see that you are using the car! :)
@styldsteel110 жыл бұрын
That won't do anything to that car. You can spin that car around for years. Just don't hit anything.

I did this with my Mark VII last winter, probably will do it again. soo much fun but with less wear because its on snow

The Town Car started out as package for the Continental, hint the name Continental Town Car in the late 70's until 1981 when they separated the two to make just the Town Car and the Continental. So Lincoln (Ford) could have 3 luxury cars to sale on there lots, so more money could be made and to compete with GMC's luxury line of Cadillac. The Continental, Town Car, and the Mark Series.
